The entire experience lasted about 60 minutes, if not slightly less, excluding pickup and drop off. We were led into a circular patio area where our guide spent less than 10 minutes pointing out 3-5 of the most common constellations (e.g. scorpio, sagittarius) in the night sky, then we were separated into the groups. One group got in line to have two photos taken of them while the other went over to the two telescopes they had set up and took turns viewing each one, one of which was fixated on the moon, the other on Saturn. The groups then switched “activities”. I did appreciate that the guide offered and helped us to take pictures of the image in the telescope with our phones, but the entire “activity” consisted of just glancing at each of the aforementioned planets 1-2 times, with no deeper discussion or analysis. After that the groups were brought back together and moved over to a small fire pit where they had set up a few platters with hors d'oeuvres and beverages. We stood around for 15-20 minutes snacking then we all got back on the busses and left. Although the guides were nice enough, I have to say this tour felt completely pointless and I can’t recommend it at all, especially for the price. I went into with the understanding that it was the worst possible time of month to be viewing the night sky and still left severely underwhelmed. Even during new moon periods when deep space observation is impossible, I think they should spend a lot more time with customers using the telescopes. Maybe view different objects within our solar system and/or add a historical perspective with a discussion of how Andean cultures have interpreted the night sky in their belief systems.

Only do this tour if you speak Portuguese, don’t care what time the tour starts/ends, ok waiting in the dark freezing due to poor communication, not seeing the milky way clearly, and getting photos a week later. I did the roofless tour the night before and that was better in every way. Roofless had a darker location to see milky way/stars, small group with personal attention, clear communication on pickup/dropoff in English, on time and way better pictures that were sent in less than 24 hrs. This tour was delayed 2.5 hours with no reason given and disorganized with everyone rotating stations in groups. My friends and I were the last ones to get photos done at almost 2am when milky way was setting so it was barely visible. We were led out into the desert walking 10 minutes by a photographer that did not speak English. When we returned to the site, everyone was gone and the photographer took us back to the hotel. It took constant messaging on whatsapp for a week to finally get subpar photos. I rarely write reviews but I feel like this is necessary to warn others.

This tour seems a bit disorganized. The start time of our tour on 10 September 2026 was delayed by more than 2 hours but we were never provided an explanation on why it was delayed. Additionally upon arrival at the star gazing site, my group felt like we were being herded like cattle through the various stations that were set up. Lastly, we didn’t end up taking our photos until close to 1:30am and the Milky Way had already disappeared beyond the horizon. You could tell this may have an off night for the tour agency and while we appreciated being returned to our hotel by the guide themselves, we didn’t make it back until 2am, nearly 2 hours after the scheduled end. Would recommend a different tour option.

Perfectly. The Boys of Agencia Pablo (Pablito) and Bismark are super attentive and organized all my tour according to my stay time. Better price and comfort at the agency. Attention via WhatsApp also spectacular, you respond immediately.

We loved this walk, it was magical. You shouldn't come to Atacama and not take this walk. The guide Genaro is too, gave a super class and treated us very well! ❤️

I loved traveling with We love Chile. The attendant Bismark was excellent, gave us all the service with courtesy and kindness. He explained everything right and the price he gave us was super fair. The transfers used for the tours were great, with safety, the drivers who took us to the tours tbm tinh a lot of experience, the guides were very good, is that for Julia, Frederico and Alonso, guides very friendly, ready to take questions qdo we had them.
