It’s a great overview of history of this area. Driver, Brian, was knowledgeable and shared widely with all.

I highly recommend this tour! Our guide was super knowledgeable and very friendly. I appreciated going to different sites and learning about them, and then being able to go back on our own to the sites we wanted more time in.

A small group driver / guide led trip around St John’s. Our leader, Brian is extremely knowledgable and has lots of interesting facts to share. We had about the right time at each stop although for slow walkers it might be difficult to get up to the light house at Cape Spear. We were lucky to see a fisherman bring in his catch.

We had an incredible time on this 3-hour tour, and our guide, Dan I believe, made the experience truly exceptional! He was knowledgeable, engaging, and brought the local history and culture to life at every stop. It is the perfect way to see the top highlights around St. John's, especially if you are short on time. Standing at the edge of North America at the historic Cape Spear Lighthouse was breathtaking, and exploring the WWII bunkers was a fascinating bonus. The tour balances rugged coastal beauty with local culture perfectly. We loved the stops at the picturesque fishing villages of Petty Harbour and Quidi Vidi, which offer a true taste of authentic Newfoundland outport living. The panoramic views from Cabot Tower on Signal Hill were absolutely awe-inspiring, and getting to see the vibrant Jellybean Row houses downtown was the perfect finishing touch. We never felt rushed despite packing so much into 3 hours. Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the area! Short walk from the cruise ship to the bus location/store front.

Tour guide, Brendan, was patient, friendly and knowledgeable. Time at each location was not enough so I will book separate tours in future to make the most of each sight! I would recommend this tour if you have just a couple of hours to spare to see as much of St. John's as possible.

The guide was well-versed in local history and provided interesting and relevant facts with a great sense of humour.

Fee was 85 per person, well worth the price. We enjoyed every moment, learned lots of history, and had some good laughs. The 1 thing that was a little troublesome was the seating in the passenger van. 4 of us, with 3 of us a little larger squeezed into the back seats.

This was a great cruise excursion with the limited time we had.. a little more time at Cape Spear would have been good but all in all it’s a great way to see St John’s.. a highlight was getting to meet the local fisherman in Petty Harbour and a beautiful Newfoundland dog in Quidi Vida..

Brian was a superb guide. I really enjoyed the trip despite the windy weather.
