We saw both the little, but amazing, ancient walled town of Monseraz (basically on the Spanish border) and some monuments in Evora. We found the Roman Temple Ruin and the Roman Aquaduct to be the most interesting in Evora. The ride to Evora and Monseraz is very long. We had an excellent guide who was an architect and he was also an excellent driver. We were in a very comfortable van. It was quite hot and our driver had water for us!

Our guide Alexandre P. Was a wonderful host of this private tour. We did not feel rushed at all and appreciated all the flexibility we were provided. The medevil and Roman sights at Monsaraz and Evora were spectacular!!!

Evora day trip
It was a very good trip and would recommend it to people interested in history. The day wouldn't have been as good without a great guide though. I was fortunate to spend the day with Alexander who is very knowledgeable and easy to get along with.

Jose was an incredible...
Jose was an incredible guide. Had great knowledge, so friendly and thoughtful. He shared a lot of history of Portugal. Would highly recommend this tour and tour guide.

Evora private tour.
This is a very relaxed, tour of Evora and Monsaraz. We were driven around in an VW ID.Buzz and the driver was very knowledgeable. I would recommend this day trip from Lisbon.
