「京都の台所」とも呼ばれる錦市場は、100軒以上の商店や露店が軒を連ねる活気ある狭い商店街。 京都中心部の5街区に広がり、400年以上にわたって生鮮食品、魚介類、地元グルメの拠点として親しまれてきた。 湯葉、漬物、新鮮な魚介類、和菓子、抹茶など、京の伝統食が豊富なことで有名。 串焼きや卵焼き、魚介類を串に刺した屋台など、屋台風の軽食を提供する店も多い。
三十三間堂は、慈悲の女神観音像1,001体で有名な京都の注目仏教寺院。 寺名は「三十三間堂」の意で、全長120mの長い木造建築で、木柱と木柱の間に33の区画があることに由来する。 長寛2年（1164年）に建立され、火災後の文永3年（1266年）に再建され、印象的な建築を保っている。 巨大な千手観音坐像の本尊は、千体の等身大観音立像に囲まれており、それぞれ金色の繊細なディテールと独特の表情を持つ。 こちらは任意（入場券は1人600円）

伏見稲荷大社は、稲荷山を登る道がうっとりするような朱色の鳥居が数千基あることで有名な、日本を代表する神社です。 稲作・繁栄・商売の神である稲荷を祀り、8世紀から信仰の的であった。 神社中の狐像は稲荷の使いとされ、稲穀の鍵を口にくわえて描かれることが多い。 真っ赤な門がトンネルのような効果を生み出し、写真家のお気に入りスポットとなっている「千本鳥居」は、その最も有名なセクションです。 各鳥居は、個人や企業から合格祈願や幸運祈願として寄進される。

The traveling is very smooth since Sanca takes care of the driving and parking. Each seat is air conditioned. Sanca explains the history and importance of each temple. He walks with you so you have a photographer and guide all the time!
Had a great tour of Kyoto and Nara with Dhanu. He communicated before the tour, was very accommodating with a grumpy little one, knew all the best spots for pictures, and was very knowledgeable about the history of the shrines and temples.
Dhanu, our driver and guide, was fantastic! He was very knowledgeable of local customs and modified his standard itinerary to match our needs. We visited several beautiful temples and shrines, and whenever we passed one that he thought may interest us, he identified it and shared a brief history. We came away from the experience tired from the full day of exploring, but also energized by the beauty and improved cultural respect.
Great way to explore Kyoto in half a day. We saw everything we wanted to see hassle free. Our guide was patient, caring and helpful. He provided great information about each of the sights. We are grateful for the experience

The tour was well organised, flexible, and stress-free, allowing us to visit places we may never have discovered on our own. Their local knowledge was invaluable, and they were always happy to answer questions and share interesting insights about the areas we visited. The vehicle was comfortable, driving was safe and professional, and the entire day ran smoothly. What really stood out was their willingness to adapt the tour along the way, ensuring we got the most out of our time and saw the sights that mattered most to us. We had an awesome time with Shan. He was so knowledgeable about the areas we told him the kind of shops and presents. We wanted to get our friends and family and the type of things we wanted to get and he brought us to those types of stores he always looked after our young children and showed us all the great spots. We appreciate him and we would recommend him to anybody else that we would like to come to Kyoto.
This was The Best use of our time and money to enjoy Kyoto highlights on a short (any!) visit. Our driver/guide, Shaan, was extremely kind, flexible and helpful. We were able to access many of our stops at less crowded areas/times. Shaan noted excellent vantage points & took family photos for us at many locations. We enjoyed great peace of mind with him handling the transport/traffic/parking. Shaan also shared insights & history that added to our happy memories in Kyoto. We couldn’t have done/seen/appreciated near as much without him.
The best trip ever. Private, comfortable and our guide, Dhanu, is the best. He explains us everything, help us to understand the whole trip, Washington kind, respectful and an excellent photographer.
Wonderful experience exploring Kyoto with our tour guide Shan. He was very respectful and adjusting. Despite bad weather we were able to see most of the major attractions. His car was very clean and comfortable.
