We spent three days with Abdón, getting to know the Cordillera Real and Sajama National Park, and they were some of the best days of our trip to Bolivia. From the planning, he was very careful to understand what we wanted and our rhythm. Knows the region very well and knows how to organize the routes to reach the most beautiful places and enjoy the best views without turning the trip into an unnecessary effort, especially important at such high altitudes. Throughout the entire journey, we felt very well taken care of. The car is comfortable, the support structure is great, and everything was organized so that we could simply enjoy the experience. And, besides being an excellent guide, Abdón is a very pleasant, attentive person and it was a pleasure to spend these days with him. We return with incredible landscapes in memory and much affection for the experience. We highly recommend!

Abdon was an excellent tour guide. I booked directly with him before the trip, and he provided recommendations on what to wear and how to prepare for the hike along with city recommendations once there. The views were amazing, I climbed peak Austria and he was very helpful and friendly to talk with throughout.

If I could give Abdon more than 5 stars, I would! My partner and I hike all over the world, but our day with Abdon at Tuni Condoriri was hands-down one of the most breathtaking hiking experiences we have ever had. The Bolivian Andes are seriously underrated, and having untouched, pristine nature practically to ourselves—punctuated only by grazing alpacas, llamas, and donkeys—made it unforgettable. From the very beginning, Abdon was a dream to work with. His communication and organization were seamless. He picked us up in his comfortable 4x4, and as anyone who has been to La Paz or El Alto knows, navigating that traffic requires real skill—Abdon’s safe, patient driving was such a relief! Beyond being a brilliant guide, his hospitality was top-notch. He provided a delicious breakfast to fuel us for the trek, and for lunch, he set up a spread in a stunning location overlooking a turquoise lagoon and a dramatic glacier. Most importantly, he took extraordinary care with my gluten-free dietary needs, preparing a fantastic homemade corn and cheese bread lunch that was totally safe and delicious. Abdon was genuinely the highlight of our entire trip across Peru and Bolivia. If you are considering hiking in Bolivia, do not hesitate to book with him. It is a unique experience that yes or yes you have to live if you travel to Bolivia. The scenery and views are amazing, plus the experience on the different trails, the logistics and energy of Abdon is amazing. Super recommended.

We did the tour of the three lagoons to the Ventanani Glacier with Abdon and it was an amazing experience. He was very attentive from the beginning, helped us with the preparation, gave us advice and the day of the tour guided us with mastery. This was our second time going with Abdón up into the Cordillera Real, and it was a wonderful experience once again. This time he took us to the other side to see other lakes and other glaciers. All sorts of different topography. It snowed on our way back. Absolutely majestic. And had the place all to ourselves (only saw one other group that went on a different trail). And Abdón is a great guide who we now consider a friend. He clearly loves being out there and trying to keep it pristine. And the people in those areas clearly trust and think highly of him, all of which is unfortunately quite rare in Bolivia—traditional tour guides from the city tend to descend on these kinds of places and they and their tourists just take a bunch of selfies and leave behind a bunch of trash. If you're in Bolivia and want to experience the high peaks of the Andes, look no further!
