Brett was a great guide and went above and beyond to accommodate us. Caught fish unfortunately end of season and what we wanted to catch wasn’t to plentiful. Had fun catching and releasing anyway and made some good memories.

I feel like this was just a money grab by this company. Several of the reels had issues and there was eight of us scattered out across 100 yards of shoreline and the young man who was trying to help us was running back and forth between everybody as reels were getting tangled, lures snagged and equipment was failing. Half the time was spent waiting for his help. The rubber waders they supplied were about the cheapest you could find and had a hard time fitting several people. My reel.was broke and would free spool and dump line out of it. The guide admitted to me that he knew is was broken but they hadn't had a chance to fix it. Why give it to me if I just paid a bunch of money and you knew it was broken? I know fishing can be hot and cold, but only one person caught a fish and it was a small sculpin, not a single other person even got a bite. You could see salmon jumping out by the buoys but you couldn't cast anywhere near them since we could only go out about thigh deep and they were too far out to reach with a cat, especially for those with less fishing experience or had never fished with and open bell reel. I felt scammed with this excursion and wouldn't do it again.

Wear a rain coat. All other gear is supplied. You will need to purchase a 1 day Alaska fishing license and Salmon Stamp. $30. Registration is on-line, (very easy on the phone) but you will need to print the actual license.

Our group had a wonderful experience with AJ as our guide. Everyone caught at least one salmon. AJ was very patient and helped my daughters who were inexperienced.

Aj is a sweet heart. So patient and kind. Didn't catch anything but seaweed but it was still amazing and so beautiful.

Our guide AJ was professional, efficient, accommodating and helpful. Comfortable van, smooth ride, short distance. Beautiful nature. Didn't catch any salmon, but no regrets!

AJ was a fantastic guide and fishing partner for me and my son on this adventure in Juneau. He was personable, patient, knowledgeable, and just great company. Highlight of our trip was landing a 23-pound dog salmon. It was a real treat and memories my son and I will cherish. Thank you again, AJ!!
