Is Pachacamac worth leaving the city for? Absolutely. Seeing how the Wari, Ychsma, and Inca cultures layer on top of each other in a single site was a masterclass in Peruvian archaeology. A brilliant, low-stress half-day getaway!

Not as famous as the mountain ruins in Cusco, but completely unique in its own way. A great mix of desert vibes, history, and ocean air. Highly recommended!
