清水寺（きよみずでら）は、京都東部の東山地区にあるユネスコ世界遺産の仏教寺院で、大きな木製の舞台とパノラマの街並みで有名。 丘の斜面より13メートルの高さに突き出た有名な本堂の舞台は、釘一本も使わずに建てられました。 京都市街と周辺の自然美を一望でき、息をのむような絶景をお楽しみいただけます。 本堂の下にあり、参拝者は3つの清らかな水の流れから飲むことができ、それぞれ長寿、成功、幸運な恋愛など、さまざまなご利益をもたらすと信じられています。 時宗神社 境内に鎮座し、縁結びの神を祀る神社。 「恋の石」チャレンジ 目を閉じて2つの石の間を上手に歩くと恋愛運がアップすると言われています。 二年坂や三年坂の狭く保存された通りには、土産物を売る昔ながらの店が軒を連ねており、お寺までの散策はそれ自体が体験です。
金閣寺は京都北部を代表する禅宗寺院で、最上2階が金箔で覆われた見事な本堂で有名です。 ユネスコの世界遺産にも登録されている、必見のランドマークです。 黄金の亭 : 本堂は主要な観光名所で、金箔で飾られた外観が、大きな「鏡池」に美しく映り込むことで有名です。 ユニークな建築 : 3階建てのパビリオンは、異なる建築様式が調和的に融合しています。 1階 - 寝殿造（平安宮廷造）。 2階 - 武家様式。 3階 : 中国語禅風。 屋根には金の鳳凰像が飾られている。 回遊式庭園 : 訪問者は指定された道を進み、美しい景観の日本語回遊式庭園を通り、さまざまな角度からパビリオンのさまざまな絵のように美しい景色を楽しむことができます。 茶室・不動堂 - 過去の土産物店を出ると雪花亭（非公開）を過ぎる。

伏見稲荷大社は、京都南部の稲荷山を吹き上げる数千本の鮮やかな朱色の鳥居で有名な、稲作・農業・商売繁盛の神「稲荷」を祀る総本社です。 最も象徴的なのは推定1000基の鳥居の通路で、山を登るトンネルのような遊歩道になっている。 各門は個人や企業からの寄贈品で、裏面には寄贈者の氏名と日付が刻まれている。 登山道は稲荷山を登る約4キロで、全行程を歩くと約2時間かかる。 本殿は根元にあり、参道にはより小さな神社や茶屋などがあり、自然と精神性が融合した独特の造りとなっている。 狐像 : 稲荷の使いとされる 狐像 が神社全体に豊富に描かれており、穀倉の鍵を口にくわえている姿がよく見られます。 見頃 ：早朝や夜間に訪れると、人混みを避けることができます。
「京都の台所」とも呼ばれる錦市場は、京都の繁華街にある活気ある狭いショッピング街で、地元の食材や工芸品などを扱う100以上の屋台が出店しています。 京都の伝統的な食文化を垣間見ることのできるユニークなお店で、営業時間は年中無休、通常9:00～17:00（店舗により時間は異なります ） 。 だし巻き卵 : だし汁で甘く巻いた卵焼き。 湯葉 ：豆腐の皮で、生のまま乾燥させたもの。 漬物 ：種類豊富な漬物。 豆乳ドーナツ ： 「 こんなもんじゃ」で人気のスイーツ。 ユニークなショッピングアイテム : マーケットは食べ物以上のものを売っています。 包丁＆調理器具 創業400年以上の老舗「有次」は、上質な日本語で有名。 陶磁器 : 木戸愛楽のようなお店では、地元で作られた美しい京焼が売られています。 その他のグッズ ：日本酒、名物茶、紙製品、手づくり扇子などもあります。
平安時代の建築の傑作と謳われる京都・宇治のユネスコ世界遺産「平等院 」 。 最も有名な建造物である鳳凰堂は、日本語の象徴的なランドマークであり、10円硬貨の裏面に描かれている建物である。 鳳凰堂（鳳凰堂） - 天喜元年（1053年）建立で、翼が2枚、尾廊が翼を広げた鳥のような独特の意匠。 池の中央に位置し、仏教の極楽浄土を表すことを意図している。 鳳翔館 ： 「 雲に祈る菩薩像」26体、屋根の銅鳳凰の実物、梵鐘など国宝の実物を収蔵する、ほぼ地下の近代美術館。 阿弥陀仏像 ：鳳凰堂内にあり、彫刻家の巨匠・定朝の作、高さ2.8メートルの金箔像。 貨幣繋がり ：10円硬貨のほか、1万円札にはホールの屋根から鳳凰が描かれています。
東大寺（とうだいじ）は、巨大な銅造大仏像と、それを安置する巨大な木造の堂で知られるユネスコの世界遺産、奈良市にある仏教寺院の重要建造物。 大仏（大仏） - 大仏殿に安置される、高さ約15メートル、重さ250トンを超える世界最大級の銅造ヴァイロカーナ仏坐像。 大仏殿（大仏殿） - 現在の再建（1709年（宝永6年）から）は8世紀当時の3分の2の規模しかないにもかかわらず、堂自体は世界最大の木造建築として認められている工学の偉業である。 南大門（なんだいもん ） ： 「大南門」は、国宝の2体の凶暴で大きな木造守護像（仁王）が守る堂々とした木造建築です。
奈良公園は、奈良市の若草山の麓にある広大な公園で、数多くの由緒ある寺社や博物館、約1,300頭の野生のエゾシカが生息しています。 自然美と重要な文化遺産が融合した奈良のシンボル公園。 園内には風光明媚な散策路、美しい芝生、春は桜、紅葉の鮮やかさ、自然保護区である古代春日山原始林などが整備されている。 高さ50 mの見事な五重塔が特徴で、日本で2番目に高い。 春日大社 - 数千本の吊るされた青銅や石灯籠が参道を照らすことで有名。 奈良国立博物館 - 日本語の仏教美術の豊富なコレクションで知られる。
八坂塔（弥栄の塔）として広く知られる法観寺は、京都を代表する映画的ランドマークである。 歴史ある東山地区にあり、狭く保存された石造りの通りにそびえ立つ、高さ46 mの木造5階建ての塔が美しい。 古代の起源 : 589年（用明天皇3年）聖徳太子によって創建されたと伝えられる。 京都の都になる前の、京都で最も古い寺院の場所のひとつです。 再建 : 何度かの火災の後、1440年に6代将軍足利義教によって現在の建物が再建されました。 最後の遺構 : 塔は、創建当時、より大きな方閑寺伽藍の唯一の現存する建築です。 国の重要文化財に指定されている。 パゴダを取り囲む通りは24時間年中無休で公共の場所で、朝や夕日の写真撮影の伝説的なスポットとなっている。 ただし、内部へのアクセスには特定のタイミングが必要です。
渡月橋 京都の風光明媚な嵐山を代表するランドマーク、渡月橋。 桂川（別名・大井川）を挟んで全長155m、森に覆われた山々が息を呑むほど美しい。 もともとは平安時代の承和3年（836年）に建立されたもので、亀山天皇が満月が水面に昇る様を、橋を渡っているようにそっくりだと評したことから、ロマンチックな名がついた。 現在の構造は1934年にまで遡ります。構造の安定性のために近代的な鉄筋コンクリートの柱を特徴としていますが、美しいパラペットは景観に完璧に溶け込むように、すべて本物のヒノキ材で作られています。 緑豊かで活気に満ちた丘陵地帯が、涼しい急流のわきを走っている。 観光客は夕暮れ後に川で伝統的な鵜飼いを見ることができる。
京都のすぐ南にある抹茶の都宇治は平等院表参道が有名。 この300 mの「抹茶通り」は世界遺産の平等院に通じている。 何世紀もの歴史を持つティーハウスやカフェが立ち並び、世界クラスの石挽き抹茶や革新的なお菓子を提供しています。 通りから歩いてすぐのトレンディなお店で、フォトジェニックな抹茶ドリンクをインクボトル型のおしゃれな容器で提供しています。 焙煎した抹茶ドリンクやデザート、軽食など30種類以上のメニューを提供。
興福寺（こうふくじ）は、奈良県奈良市にある、ユネスコの世界遺産に世界的に認められた仏教寺院。 天智天皇6年（669年）に創建され、和銅3年（710年）に現在地に移転し、奈良・平安時代の有力貴族集団である藤原家の正式な氏寺として奉仕した。 奈良公園のすぐ隣に位置するスプロール複合施設は、国宝や歴史建築のコレクションで有名。 国宝館 - 国内屈指の仏教美術コレクションを所蔵する。 その文句なしの傑作は、有名な三面六臂の阿修羅像で、天平6年（734年）の乾漆彫刻である。中央黄金堂（中金堂） - 当寺の本堂。 300年前に焼失したが、数十年かけて綿密に再建され、2018年末にリニューアルオープンした。 料金 美術館 ¥900、中央・東ホール各¥500、総合3会場チケット ¥1,600（大人）¥1,100（ティーンズ）

We had an amazing Kyoto and Nara trip with Rana! He was knowleadgeable, friendly, and very accommodating throughout the entire journey. What stood out most was how caring and attentive he was. He always considered our needs, made sure everyone was comfortable, and went above and beyond to ensure we had a pleasant experience. His thoughtfulness and willingness to help made the trip stress-free and enjoyable. Rana kept the tour well organized while allowing enough time to enjoy the sights, take photos and explore at a comfortable pace. His professionalism, kindness, and dedication truly made our Kyoto and Nara visit memorable. We highly recommend Rana to anyone looking for an exceptional tour guide experience.
We had a great time exploring Kyoto and Nara with our driver Mozam! He showed us around Nara Park first to start of the day and then we went back to Kyoto to see the Golden Temple and the Bamboo Forest. We also had a great lunch near the Golden Temple. We highly recommend to book this if you want to check out the important points in both Kyoto and Nara.
Rana was our friendly tour guide. He picked us up at our house. He was good to communicate with us and he could answer all our questions about the destinations. The van was comfortable and roomy for family of five.

Difficult experience that started off over an hour late with little to no notice, no planned itinerary sent in advance and driver had limited interest in explaining anything about Kyoto or locations. We were also deserted by our guide at one location and had to find him in the parking lot. Car was old and very uncomfortable - a very disappointing experience that we stopped after a couple of hours.
Rana (our driver guide) was very welcoming, friendly and on time. As we were travelling with grandparents and kids, we only chose certain attractions to visit and gave the rest a miss. We could customise and change our itinerary after each stop and it did not feel rushed. In fact, he accommodated our request to pick up our luggage from the nearby storage centre and helpfully transported them back with us. All in all, a very enjoyable and relaxing way to indulge in Kyoto’s culture. Thank you for the lovely memories!

Rana was a fantastic guide and was perfectly willing to travel to all the sights in Kyoto. His language skills were much appreciated and despite us feeling unwell he took care of us and brought us home a little early! I would strongly recommend this service and Rana in particular to anyone looking for a private tour of the city.

Did not meet expectations. Had to walk 3 blocks away to meet the driver at a 7-11 He immediately complained about toll roads and parking. Limited knowledge of Japanese culture and history No proactive information given about the sites. Inefficient use of our time. We had to park with him then we walked to entrance instead of being dropped at the entrance. We contributed to parking costs. On personal calls during many transfers between sites. The positive. We had water and snacks in the vehicle for us. Not a certified guide. Told us he failed the test twice. Inappropriate questions regarding our political opinions
According to our full investigation, it was found that first of all, 1.According to our page's policy, we do not pick up from the airport or seaport. You were reminded two days ago that if you come to any convenience store near the seaport, our driver will pick you up from there, otherwise, as per your wish, you were sent to the 7/11 location 2 minutes away from the regular seaport. You acknowledged that we agree. 2. And then you guys started smoking cigarettes repeatedly in the public area. When you refused, we threatened to give the driver a bad review and made him shut up. 3. The driver gave you two hours of extra time. Your tour was completely customized and you were briefed and guided everywhere. 4. Your car kept stopping every 10 minutes because you had to smoke cigarettes. 5. There is paid parking everywhere in Kyoto city which the driver paid from his pocket. 6. Our page it is clearly stated that the driver is the guide. Our driver guided you properly and served you a lot. But still if any mistake has been made, we apologize.
We loved our tour. We were able to see all that we wanted and more. Our guide was very accommodating by allowing us freedom to enjoy the sites and customizing a schedule based on what we would like to see.
