Interactive art with some winners. Be ready to get a little wet but that’s not too bad. Make sure you download the tickets properly. Viator sent the wrong start time and challenging access to tickets.

Team Lab Planets was a really unique experience and I’m glad we went. Heads up: when it tells you your tickets will be in your email the day before, if you don’t get a QR code, check the “chat” area from your booking and that’s where we found our QR code which is required for entry.

This was a very unique experience, I wish it had some smells in it. It makes you think about how much your senses play in your life

One of the absolute musts in Tokyo: immersive digital art in huge spaces, where lights, sounds, and projections react to your movement. In Tokyo there are two different locations, but we went to the teamLab Planets (Toyosu): a more "physical" experience, you enter barefoot and walk in rooms with shallow water, mirrors, and very photogenic installations (floating orchids, digital koi, infinite rooms). Tickets: online purchase mandatory with entry time; indicative prices for adults ~¥3,200–¥3,600 for Planets and ~¥3,800–¥4,800 for Borderless (variable by date/time). Duration: approximately 1h30–2h for Planets, 2–3+ hours for Borderless. Tips: book well in advance, especially on weekends and holidays; for Planets bring shorts or pants that can get wet, for Borderless comfortable shoes.

My son and I went here for a few hours on a recommendation from a friend and it was a great few hours. Very immersive and sensory driven. However not for the unsteady on their feet. Really good interactive areas and enjoyable all round. Recommended if in Tokyo with some time available. PS - great eating and drinking area around the corner next to river if you get there early…

Important to note that our experience at TeamLabs was absolutely fantastic and highly recommend you go. I recommend that you purchase your tickets directly through the TeamLabs website. Booking through Viator cost us 84% more than purchasing directly. Looks like the commissions paid to its tour providers are worth more than the actual experience. This is the email I received from Viator "Hi Jomo Thanks for contacting us about Team Lab Planets Tokyo Timed Entry Admission Ticket. To provide full transparency, the rates on Viator are higher because the platform charges a commission fee for every booking processed through their marketplace. Regards, Ronel Viator Customer Service" While I understand paying extra for convenience, I can't justify paying such an outrageous commission/service fee. Unfortunately this will be the last time I book with Viator.

Don’t book with Viator. We had booked Team Lab Tokoyo for a selected time and while in tokoyo I got an email that Viator will not honor our time that we originally booked. I tried calling and emailing Viator and I got no response. We were unable to goto Team Lab and my family was very disappointed.

The water portion was really neat, but it was way too crowded at 8:30pm. Overwhelmingly crowded. After the water section, I went to the bathroom where there was a huge pile of toilet slippers in the entry causing me to trip and fall hard to the ground. None of the other bathrooms had toilet slippers, so I was totally unprepared. They need to do better than that. Would not go back.

Extremely crowded, nice art pieces and photo opportunities though had higher expectations (entirely on me). The crowds made the experience very overwhelming and borderline unenjoyable. Even with staff and limited signage it’s difficult to navigate through areas and find exits. Personally, my partner and myself wouldn’t return as I suppose it’s aimed more toward children. If you’re a family and wanna walk through water and mirrors floors with other families, this is your time to shine.

Very busy Staff were helpful Amazing beautiful experience Wish more staff were there particularly in the live flower section, we were told not to touch the plants (understandable) and a few people just ruined the experience smashing into the plants and not doing as asked Wish also there was signs for visitor self awareness, in the amazing sections people were so loud and running around like idiots it took away the magic of the immersive experience for everyone that respected the place and culture of Japan. The place itself is lovely, I just wish humans didn't behave like wild animals / if they do they are escorted out. Maybe even an adults only slot could be good!? Staff are so sweet, on the climbing sections when I was nervous they came over and held my hand and helped me get across (how beautiful!) Definitely recommend! Just hope the idiots I refer to above is a one off of I'm not sure how long this amazing experience will last
