The guide was great - and gave lots of context so that I really understood how everything I saw fitted into the overall history of Sofia.
Vasil gave a really interesting tour of the city with lots of fascinating details. Great to hear so much about all the different cultures that Sofia has been involved in. Very many interesting churches and buildings within a compact area.
I had a couple of hours to kill in Sofia and found this trip on Viator. Vasil was our guide and was amazing! He was so knowledgeable and made it a great experience! I highly recommend if you want to see sofia and understand its history better
Very interesting and educational walk. The only thing we missed was a coffee break. We were allowed to stop for a moment to bring a water or coffee. Furthermore, it is definitely recommended.

This tour was excellent and we learned a lot about Sofia. It was nice having a small group so we could hear everything, and not wait for a crowd to take pictures. I highly recommend this tour.
Vasil was a great guide. His tour and commentary were very informative and interesting, covering history from the Thracians to now, visiting important and historic religious, cultural and civic buildings, statues and archaeological sites, as well as taking in the Central Park. I now feel much better informed about Serdica and its heritage.
Our walking tour of Sofia with Vasil from Hola Bulgaria was fantastic!
