Absolutely incredible experience and our highlight of our trip definitely a must book! Our guide was amazing he was so knowledgeable about the Aurora and you could tell how much he loves what he does, he went out of his way to give us the best possible chance of seeing the lights even driving us all the way to Sweden for clear skies. And he was incredible at tracking it he could tell you where the Aurora was in the sky before we could see it, with his own eyes, and there it was and loved educating us around how it works too. We loved the experience so much that we booked with him for 2 nights and both nights were such an experience But what made it even better was seeing how excited he still gets when the lights appear even with seeing it all the time he was more excited than we were when it came out! Really made the whole experience feel personal and not just another tour. I could not recommend this tour enough and unforgettable experience and absolutely worth it!

The journey was a comfortable one. The guide was so experienced to find good spots. While seeing aurora all depends on weather, our journey wouldn’t be so pleasant without the guide. Highly recommend this tour while is value for money.

Great experience. We first had to drive a few hours to Sweden with a short break at the border until we saw the Northern Lights. At first very light which was almost impossible to see with the naked eye but our guide knew we had to wait a while and indeed we saw the beautiful Northern Lights in different places and different shapes in the sky a little later. Found LaplandXTour on Instagram while searching for a hunt that truly focuses on chasing the lights, rather than just a standard sightseeing trip and large tour group. The week we arrived in Rovaniemi, it was snowy and cloudy, and honestly our hopes were quite low. We reached out to the guide (Lattif) beforehand and really appreciated how responsive he was. He helped us manage our expectations, reminding us that the Northern Lights are ultimately dependent on the weather and forecast. That honesty meant a lot to us and made us feel we were in good hands. Our guide, Lattif, was communicative and clearly passionate on what he does. He shared interesting insights and how to track the Northern lights. When the lights were not clear at the first location, he went the extra mile to bring us to a second spot without hesitation. We joined two families, making it a cosy group of eight, which felt just nice and personal. It turned out to be such an amazing and unforgettable experience. We are truly glad we booked this tour and would recommend it to friends.

Couldn’t recommend LxT any more highly. There are 70 or so companies to book tours in Rovaniemi, which gave pause when we were organising our trip there. But this was one of the choices we made correctly. The guide (liv/lief? Sorry!) was communicative, passionate about giving interesting information, very conscious of weather and keeping people safe. The tour was appropriately sized, and well worth the money.

We had an absolutely amazing Northern Lights tour! We were so lucky , we could already see the lights after just a 30-minute drive. It was truly magical. We did this tour with kids, and it was perfect for families. The owner himself guided our tour, and he was incredibly kind and friendly. He really went above and beyond for us. After we saw the Northern Lights the first time, he could have simply taken us back home, but instead he drove us to four different spots so we could enjoy different views of the lights. Each location was beautiful and unique. He also took wonderful photos of our family, which made the experience even more special. On top of that, he shared so much interesting information about the Northern Lights , you can tell he really knows and loves what he does. He even offered to take us to another location, but we chose to head home instead. He was so patient and thoughtful the entire time. I truly, truly recommend this tour. It was an unforgettable experience! ✨
