We only had two days in Prague, so I spent a considerable amount of time researching and carefully choosing what we wanted to see during our very limited stay. I selected this tour specifically because the advertised itinerary covered many of the places we were most interested in visiting. I was genuinely looking forward to it. Unfortunately, the tour never happened. The tour information stated that the guide would contact us through WhatsApp a couple of hours beforehand. We did not have WhatsApp, so I proactively messaged the guide through Viator a full day before the tour to let them know. In hindsight, this should have been my first concern. We have booked many excursions through Viator, and communication through the Viator app has never been an issue. We received no response to that message and no communication whatsoever leading up to the tour. We arrived at the designated meeting point 10 minutes early and waited. No guide appeared. I contacted Viator Support, and they attempted to reach the guide as well. There was no response. I then called the guide directly. Again, no answer. Approximately 30 minutes later, I finally received an email from the guide stating, “I’m really sorry, I was pretty sure that i cancelled this booking”. That response was incredibly disappointing and, in my opinion, very unprofessional. Being “pretty sure” a booked tour was cancelled is not sufficient when travelers have planned a limited amount of vacation time around an advertised and confirmed excursion. Even if the guide believed the booking had been cancelled, my message the previous day should have prompted someone to verify the reservation and contact us. The biggest loss wasn’t simply the tour itself. It was our time. By the time we realized no one was coming, it was approaching lunchtime and a significant portion of one of only two days we had in Prague was gone. We suddenly had no itinerary and had to spend our vacation time figuring out where to go, how to get there, and which of the places we had planned to see could still reasonably be fit into the remainder of the day. We ultimately made the best of it and created our own itinerary, but that isn’t what we had paid for or planned. What makes this particularly frustrating is that this tour was supposed to be one of the highlights of our first day in Prague. Instead, the lack of communication and failure to show up left us scrambling and unfortunately created a very negative first impression of our time in the city. Travel plans sometimes change, and cancellations happen. That is understandable. Failing to notify your customers, particularly after they contacted you the day before, is not. When travelers have only a limited amount of time in a city, you aren’t just cancelling a tour. You are taking away time they cannot get back.

Vadim was very punctual and friendly , tour was a long one with alot of hidden gems , the coffee break was much appreciated, a little bit more information on some of the sites would have been appreciated and some more content for the sites visited. Of note he was also very willing to take photos.

We appreciate that Vadim did the tour with just the two of us rather than cancelling last minute. He was very punctual and communicated effectively. Note this tour is a bit of cardio so prepare yourself for it and dress accordingly It loses one star because it was a bit haphazard and the information wasn’t presented in a chronological order. Some of the questions we asked, he wasn’t able to answer but all in all it was a picturesque walk with a coffee break and lots of amazing pictures

It was such a beautiful walk! We visited three gardens, each one was different and each one was gorgeous - peacocks, statues, ponds, tremendous views - and no tourists! We made a stop at a hidden cafe which was absolutely charming, and visited the main church of this quarter, which was overwhelming! Thank you Vadim!
