Mario is the BEST guide I have had on this trip, very attentive, charismatic, and informed about the latest research conducted at the places we visited. It is clear that he loves his job, I learned a lot during the whole trip and I also asked him questions that had nothing to do with the tour, which he was happy to answer very kindly. When he found out that I am Chilean, and since I was the only passenger the day I took the tour, we went off the itinerary a bit and he took me to see Bernardo O’Higgins' house in downtown Lima, it was a nice experience. He also gave me time to buy some things at the souvenir shops and he got me a brochure at the place where there was no shop, unfortunately I lost it, hahaha! I also thank the driver, always very kind and attentive.

Excellent service
Excellent experience, I had booked a group tour, but since there were no other participants in the end, I ended up having a practically private tour for the same price.
The guide Mario was excellent: very kind, collaborative, attentive, and professional; he explained everything to me clearly, answered all my questions, and looked after me throughout the entire tour.
The treatment was very good and the experience exceeded my expectations; without a doubt, I recommend it.

Mario and Viator provide superb experience
We had a wonderful well designed tour today (August 17, 2026) led by Mario, a professional, competent, and kind guide. Mario introduced us to Lima as well as many aspects of its culture. Viator allowed us to skip long queues at several places we visited. Mario’s style created a calm, leisurely, and relaxed experience. He was patient with our questions and was able to put the facts in context. We travel a lot yet have never taken a Viator tour. Based on today’s experience, we use Viator again on our travels. Thank you Mario for a rewarding and informative five hours. Mario was especially effective in the Miraflores market. He knew lots of people and arranged nice tastings.

Lima Adventure
Excellent short tour of Lima. We hit most of the high points in one 5 hour period. Our guide, Mario was a wealth of knowledge. He impressed me with the vast amount of information, history and geology of Lima and Peru. Our driver, Abel had nerves of steel maneuvering through the Lima traffic. An excellent adventure for us!!

The tour was fantastic, and Mario was an amazing tour guide.
I had Mario as a guide and he was the absolute best tour guide I’ve ever had.
Full of useful information and always had knowledge to spare if you had any questions.
Extremely caring and understanding when there were times we needed more time to look around or a slower explanation.
Would recommend Mario 100 times out of 10.

What an awesome experience! Super Mario got us priority access, avoiding a long queue and once inside was just the best guide to really bring the tour alive. Great knowledge and interesting facts. Definitely seek him out when you are in Peru!

Amazing tour with Mario!
We had a fantastic city tour at Huaca Pucllana with Mario. His knowledge of the site and its history is incredibly deep. He explained everything in a way that was engaging and easy to understand, making the ancient pre-Inca history truly come alive. Highly recommend booking a tour with him!
