Nice experience with Selva. It was a long drive from our hotel so we had endless conversations about Malaysian culture and politics. The activities were fun and Selva even took us to an old Dutch fortress where we could feed monkeys. Fun day with fun guide

Our guide, Suresh, was fantastic. He explained our Itinerary and what we would see. Our first stop was at a temple carved from a single rock! The carving was amazing and depicted lots of elephants. The second stop was at the lighthouse/British fort. There we saw 2 kinds of monkeys - silver (with cute orange babies) and brown ones that were described as “naughty”! My husband bought some vegetables pieces to feed the monkeys and they crawled all over him! I got some fun pictures! After a tasty dinner on a restaurant deck on the Selangor River we got on a boat to travel upstream to see the fireflies-so fun to see. Then the boat traveled the opposite direction towards the Straight of Malacca. The phosphorescent algae was fascinating…worth the trip!
