This was a small group tour booked via Expedia. If your are on are a first time visitor to the Santorini and you are there for one day, this is the tour for you. Lilly our guide was engaging and passionate about the rich history and current way of life in Santorini. Lilly was very knowledgeable about past history, legends (Atlantis) and current o going’s in Santorini. Lilly brought our group to the smaller village of Megalochori where Lilly showed us how grapes are grown on the island. We also had chance to visit a an unfinished cave house. Because the village is not as bustling with tourist it was very pleasant to walk the streets and walkways. We proceeds to visit the towns of Oia and Fira. Both cities or towns or beautiful but very busy with tourist so circulating some of the narrow walkways can frustrating if you want to take in some particular sites. The tour finished at a winery in Fira where we had a presentation on how the wines are produced and a tasting which was very good. The tour was great and Lilly passion and personality made this tour much more enjoyable. Just a note, nothing to do with the tour but if you are on a Cruise Ship visiting Santorini and you want to take in the sunrise in Fira without the bustling crowds, take the earliest tender boat to the port. Let me just say that it was worthwhile, to walk the walkways and take in a quiet Fira with the sunrise, spectacular.
