This experience was amazing. Sebastian was great and his knowledge took us to an incredible location where he gave us the best chance to see the northern lights, which we did!

It was an unforgettable experience. Sebastian, our guide made everything possible despite relatively poor forecasts to allow us to experience the Northern Lights. We visited a beautiful spot in the mountains where we were completely alone and had a great view of the natural spectacle. Sebastian was the best guide you could ask for. Super friendly, helpful and with great insights and tips for the trip. Everything was just perfect!

sebastian - i don’t know how he manage it all but he’s the man! he is our tour guide, our driver, our photographer, our chef (he prepared hot choc, hot drinks, hot soup for us!), setup bon fire all single handedly. he is full or energy, even in this freezing weather, out for 5-6hrs. he also share a lot of his experiences, stories which were really enlightening. THIS IS THE BEST TOUR OUT OF the 3 tours i booked for my Tromsø trip. Steam Tours team, especially sebastian were very professional, i like the mini tour group, its much more personal. the booking is easy, the pick up was on time, the journey was pleasant. thermal jacket n boots were provided, and they were in clean and good condition. i strongly suggest this tour! book early as they have limited availability. we managed to get the best of aurora lights thanks to his experience and knowledge around the area. good photographs were taken, which were shared immediately with us!

Sebastian was an incredible guide! We loved that he checked in advance on the weather and decided to take us on a little hike out onto a lake, in a secluded spot for our small group tour. It was an intimate and unforgettable experience! The moment the skies suddenly cleared and the lights showed up everywhere was quite magical! I can't imagine doing this with big groups or in places where other tour groups were also camped. He's also great photographer and he managed to capture really amazing photos of me and my family with the lights in the background! These will be lifelong memories for years to come! We loved the nice campfire that Sebastian built and also the hot soup and hot chocolate he made for us whilst we waited patiently for our light show. We really enjoyed the experience and excitement of the night! We especially enjoyed the conversations we had with him in his car. Thank you for such an unforgettable night Sebastian! We are so glad we booked with you!

Very nice and particular experience, Peter is very nice and helpful, it seems to have to do with a long-time friend, then on the way to Finland he explained a lot of interesting things about Norway and the Northern Lights specifically. I make a special mention of problem solving skills because despite the car that was supposed to take us on exploration broke down, he promptly rented one, thus allowing us not to give up the experience. We saw the Aurora several times during the stops we made, then Peter lit a fire, gave us a really tasty hot soup and took beautiful souvenir photos with a professional camera. One thing I really appreciated is that there were only 7 of us including the guide, because I find that for similar experiences it is much better to be few to enjoy them to the fullest. The price is quite high but it's worth it because Peter will do anything to keep you from coming home empty-handed. Wow!!!

The northern lights experience has for each and every one a very different meaning - the fear though is for everybody the same: will I even see the lights? And with Peter … we can only express gratefulness and full respect for his professionalism.. and the reassurance we got! Not only do you learn so much with him and from him… but he makes the experience one you can call a dream coming true! And when we talk about professionalism we can, with all the truth and honesty, talk about one of a kind. He will try to make the dream come true even when the circumstances are tough. And the dream will be better than you expected it. Such an amazing person besides a professional guide- so open, so knowledgeable, authentic! Excellent service, very friendly and accommodating on the tour. They were very efficient in our search for the auroras. The photos they took were incredible. They gave us great information about how the auroras form, and the food was delicious.

When we arrived in Tromso the weather did not seem to have a chance to see auroras, however with Peter and the tour he did us hunting for them was wonderful. First, Peter is an excellent guide who tells you about Tromso, activities, culture, stories, etc. besides the auroras that is really the goal of the tour, which makes the tour time very interesting one feels long and second, because they do everything in their power. Despite the rain, Peter found a place where we could see the northern lights, with their magic, which to our greatest joy, accompanied us during an unforgettable night. If your idea is to have a wonderful guide and make it an entertaining adventure, despite how long it is, do not hesitate to do it with Steam Tours. to Peter and Sebastian who were very kind THANKS for making this dream come true!
