The experience was amazing, we had a very changing climate. The pre-tour information was clear and accurate. Guide Jordan was attentive throughout the tour. We are very happy. We recommend it 100%.
Small group, eight people, picked up at lodging. 1-hour bus ride to the end of highway 9. Not much for introductions or small talk. Then a very fast 3.5 mile walk to the lighthouse. Mostly flat, mostly dry, mostly difficult walking along the beach gravel and rocks. No time to look at birds or wildlife or scenery. We were told not to be afraid of the pumas because the weren't there. Told that the vultures won't hurt you unless you are dead. We crossed three small creeks. 15-min rest at the lighthouse then voom, back to the bus. One person fell back first into the last creek on the way back. The guide helped him out but urged the group to keep moving. I lent the poor young man my jacket. If your goal is to reach the end of the continent, this will check that box. If your goal is see, hear, feel, and enjoy the south end of the Americas, take a slower paced trip.
