高知の高知砦（コーチン砦）にある聖フランシスコ教会は、もともと1503年に建てられたインド最古のヨーロッパ教会のひとつで、亜大陸におけるヨーロッパ植民地闘争の口封じの証人として歴史的意義が大きい。ポルトガル人探検家ヴァスコ・ダ・ガマは、1524年に3度目のインド訪問の折に高知で亡くなった。 遺体は当初この教会に埋葬されたが、14年後に遺体はリスボンに運び出された。
中国漁網（ちゅうごくぎょねっと、Cheena vala）は、インドの定置式リフト網の一種。 漁業用の固定された陸に設置する漁網です。 インドでは一般的に中国漁網として知られているが、より正式名称は、陸上操業のリフト網である。 巨大な機械仕掛けが横20m以上の横網を張る。 各構造物の高さは少なくとも10mで、海上に張られた網と、もう一方の端にロープで吊るされた大きな石をカウンターウェイトとして、最大6人の漁師からなるチームが操作するカンチレバーで構成されている。 このような網は中国南部やインドシナ沿岸全域で利用されているが、インドでは、主に高知やコッラムといったインドの都市で見られ、観光名所となっている。 この漁法はインドでは珍しく、14世紀に上陸してきた中国人探検家によって伝えられたように、ほぼこの地域独自のものである。 確かに、高知という都市名の解釈の一つは「コチン」で、中国のような意味
フォート・コチ・ビーチは、ケーララ州南インド、コチ市のフォート・コチにあるアラビア海沿いのビーチ。
オランダ人墓地は、何世紀も前に祖国を離れ、独自の帝国を布教し、拡大するために古代に帝国の住民として有名だったフォート・コチの訪問地の一つです。 墓地は1724年に献堂され、現在は南インド教会によって管理されており、その周辺に興味深い物語が含まれている。

マッタンチェリー宮殿（マッタンチェリーきゅうでん、Mattancherry Palace）は、インド・ケーララ州マッタンチェリーにある、高知のラージャの肖像画や展示物を描いたケーララ壁画が特徴的な、オランダ宮殿として親しまれているポルトガルの宮殿である。 宮殿はユネスコ世界遺産の「暫定リスト」に含まれていた。
パラデーシ・シナゴーグは、南インドのケーララ州コチにある、コモンウェルスで最も古い現役のシナゴーグである。 1568年に建設されたこの教会は、コーチン王国のマラバール・イェフダン族またはイェフダン・マッピラ族あるいはコーチン系ユダヤ人コミュニティの7つのシナゴーグのうちの1つである。

Great Auto Trip Advisor in Fort Kochi 🌴 We had a really good experience with our auto trip advisor in Fort Kochi. Shabeer was very friendly, helpful, and guided us around the important places without making the trip stressful. He also helped us understand more about the local places and made sure we had a comfortable and enjoyable ride. His behaviour was polite and welcoming, and he was genuinely helpful throughout the trip. Definitely made our Fort Kochi experience better. Very good guide and explained everything very nicely and took us to the historic places in Kochi.

Amazing Shopping Tour with Shihab in Kochi! We had a fantastic shopping experience in Kochi with Shihab from Legendary Kochi Tuk Tuk Tour. This was much more than just a shopping trip — Shihab helped us discover some wonderful local shops and experience the real shopping culture of Kochi. We started with the Spice Market, which was one of our favourite parts of the tour. There was such a wonderful variety of Kerala spices, including pepper, cardamom, cinnamon and other traditional products. Shihab explained the different spices and helped us understand their importance in Kerala's history and culture. It was a great place to buy authentic local spices to take home. We also visited some lovely fabric and textile shops, where we found beautiful Kerala fabrics, traditional clothing and colourful materials. Shihab was very helpful and gave us enough time to look around without feeling rushed. He also helped us communicate with the shopkeepers and made the whole experience much easier. Another highlight was visiting the souvenir shops. We found many beautiful gifts and local handicrafts to take home for our family and friends. There were so many interesting things to choose from, and Shihab helped us find items that were genuinely connected to Kerala and Kochi. What we appreciated most was Shihab's local knowledge. He knows the area very well and understands what tourists are looking for. He was friendly, honest and patient throughout the shopping tour. We never felt pressured, and he made sure we had a relaxed and enjoyable experience. If you want to buy spices, fabrics, traditional Kerala products, souvenirs and gifts while visiting Kochi, we highly recommend doing a shopping tour with Shihab. It is a great way to explore the local markets and shops while also learning more about Kochi's culture. Thank you, Shihab, for making our shopping experience so easy, enjoyable and memorable. We would definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Fort Kochi!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had a wonderful experience with the Fort Kochi & Mattancherry tuk-tuk tour with Shaheer! He was extremely friendly, helpful and knowledgeable, and made the whole experience so enjoyable. He showed us some of the most beautiful and interesting places around Fort Kochi and Mattancherry and also shared stories and information about the history and culture of the area. Shaheer was very patient, kind and made sure we were comfortable throughout the tour. He also took us to some lovely local spots that we probably wouldn’t have discovered on our own. The tuk-tuk tour was definitely one of the highlights of our Kochi trip. If you’re visiting Fort Kochi or Mattancherry, I would highly recommend taking a tour with Shaheer.
