Our cruise itinerary is arranged so that guests can enjoy the atmosphere of the Han River and have a good viewing position around the scheduled show time, but the Dragon Bridge performance itself is naturally only one part of the overall cruise experience. Guests can still enjoy the river scenery, Da Nang city lights, bridges and onboard entertainment before and after the Dragon Bridge show. As this is a city-operated event, the timing and operation of the show may occasionally be affected by official schedules, weather conditions, traffic control or other decisions made by the local authorities. We are very pleased that you particularly enjoyed our musicians performing modern songs with Vietnamese traditional instruments. The entertainment program is intentionally presented in several shorter segments throughout the cruise so that guests can enjoy the performances while still having time for dinner, river sightseeing and the overall onboard experience. We regret that the service on this particular evening did not consistently reflect the standard we aim to provide. Regarding the music upstairs, our second deck is intentionally designed with a more energetic nightlife atmosphere, featuring a DJ area and an open bar. Guests who enjoy a livelier experience are welcome to spend time there, while the lower deck generally provides a more relaxed dining environment. We are sorry that the Dragon Bridge Fire and Water Show did not meet your expectations that evening. Due to the tide and river current conditions on that particular night, our captain was required to position the vessel slightly farther from the bridge than usual in order to maintain safe navigation and positioning. Dear Tania, We are sorry that this situation caused you disappointment, but we would like to clarify what happened for future guests reading this review. Before the scheduled cruise, our team proactively contacted you because of the weather conditions. As the available seating for your booking would have been in an outdoor area exposed to the rain, we did not believe it would be appropriate to ask you to proceed with an uncomfortable experience. Our team therefore offered to assist you with changing the date or rescheduling the experience. Unfortunately, these alternatives were not suitable for your travel plans. When a reschedule could not be agreed upon, we also offered a refund rather than asking you to sit outside in poor weather conditions. The booking was not cancelled simply because we had accepted too many reservations. Our decision was made because we did not want to provide an experience that we already knew would be affected by the weather and unsuitable seating conditions. We understand that a last-minute change can be frustrating, especially while travelling, and we sincerely regret the inconvenience caused.
