I was very fortunate to have Dimitrios as my guide for the day on this very special tour. He drove me in air-conditioned comfort to multiple sites sacred to the Mysteries of Eleusis, beginning with the Sacred Gate . At each location, Dimitrios explained the history and mythology in rich detail before giving me ample time to wander around the ruins at my own pace. He was punctual, professional, and genuinely passionate about sharing Greece’s ancient heritage. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a seamless, immersive private tour.

The myth of Persephone’s descent to Hades and her reunion with Demeter, one of the great stories of rebirth and reunion, is brought to life by Pericles, who is incredibly knowledgeable and professional! 10/10!!

A truely one of a kind experience which I can’t recommend highly enough. I am travelling as a solo female traveller and my guide Dimitrios made everything so easy. From collecting me from the airport to dropping me off at my hotel I felt comfortable and looked after. His knowledge of myth, history and Eleusis made this trip really special for me as I had long been fascinated by the mysteries. The site is really incredible. Dimitri is incredibly knowledgeable about the Mysteries, while also encouraging you to explore and learn from other sources rather than simply taking his word for it. His insights went much deeper than what I was able to find readily available online, which made the experience especially valuable. He was also a true gentleman throughout, even down to the small gestures like opening my door.

Dimitrios was very knowledgeable about the sacred way. He did a fantastic job of explaining it to my wife who was a newcomer to the ancient religion and myself . He followed a step by step guided tour through the historical route that the pilgrims would have taken to participate in the sacred ceremony. He left us plenty of time to absorb the significance of the holy site at and around the Telestrion.

An extraordinary immersive experience in the history of one of Greece's most fascinating places of worship. Dimitrios was an extremely knowledgeable guide, both about the history of the site and the unique characteristics of the mystery cult that took place there.

Pericles is a very friendly and knowledgeable guide. He stopped at all places along the Sacred Road to Eleusis and explained the culture and history of each stop very well. He brought waters and a paper guide for us to follow along with. This experience was very well worth it.

The trip was booked for my son who loves greek mythology. We both enjoyed the excursion. We had a comfortable journey, we were offered cold bottled water, which was well need in the heat of the mid-day sun. Our guide was very knowledgeable and great company. We loved Eleusis site and museum. Would definitely recommend.
