ブラチスラヴァから: チチュマニー、ボイニツェ宮殿＆ハイタトラス日帰りツアー

This is a very long day. We started at 7:45am and returned home at 11:00pm. To be honest there is too much packed in to this trip to make it enjoyable. Eight tourists plus the driver packed into a van and hurtling down the road at 135kph is not my idea of a good day in the country side. We could not hear the driver/guide from the back so any commentary was lost on us. Some of our fellow tourists were consistently late and added even more time to an already long day. We felt sorry for our driver who had to drive for far too long for it to be safe. A tour with so much promise but it fails to deliver.

This was a wonderful day trip into Slovakia. We enjoyed every minute of it and would recommend anyone and everyone to book this!

Beautiful places, but a very long trip from 7:30am to 10:30pm because a lot of drive. Special thanks for our guide Lucky, he was really nice & funny and very hard working man.

English speaking guide was not available all day. Driver tried his best, but the trip was disorgansied and was totally self guided which wasn't advertised. Beautiful locations to visit, but lengthy drives with no stops and inaccurate transfers times between locations. 15+ hour trip and unfortunately I wouldn't recommend this tour, despite a wonderful country to seen.

Good tour but the van carrying 8 people felt like a prison inside. Provider should not put 2 people in the front along with the driver/guide. I hated the travel portion in the van.

We had a very enjoyable, very long, day visiting a painted village, two castles and a lake in the Tatras mountains. Our seats on the minibus were fine but people who sat in the front had extremely limited leg room - not suitable for the length of time they had to sit there. The description said we’d get to taste three local wines but only one was offered and no alternatives for people who don’t drink/want alcohol. The description mentioned a guided walk around the lake but that wasn’t offered although we could walk on our own.

The High Tatras were beautiful! The castles were pretty cool too. There is indeed quite a bit of driving required so that you can see all the places in a single day, and this can make it feel a bit rushed. Our driver was very kind and engaged with all guest on the tour. Would recommend this tour! 😁

Tadeus was a great guide and driver. Very knowledgeable and accommodating. The trip was too long for 7 people in a van. We were gone almost 15 hours. There should be a warning for people prone to motion sickness because the drive to Cicmany is quite winding. A shorter trip would only drive slowly through Cicmany (stop for a quick photo). Orava castle is very cool and the Štrbské Pleso lake was beautiful. The tour company expects too much for one guide to do all that driving in one day.

We had high hopes for this tour and were excited to see Slovakia outside of Bratsilava. We could have rented a car and it would have been a better experience. They packed too many long distance places into one day and rushed us through each place. It took 1-2 hours to drive between locations and we hit 4, with the 4th being a 4 hour drive from Bratsilava. The tour is advertised as 13 hours which we were prepared for. 16 hours later we were finally dropped back off at our hotel! And, it's not really a tour, it's a van shuttle from one place to another with only a few minutes of history provided at each place. Our two drivers/guides were very nice and enjoyable but didn't accompany us at any of the locations, except lunch. They dropped us off, gave a very brief explanation for maybe 2-3 minutes, and then picked us up and off we went to the next location. Especially disappointing was Orava Castle. When we arrived we were instructed to purchase audio tour tickets. Except you then have to download the app and audio files within, all with limited cell service and while rushing because we got there 5 minutes before last entry and only had an hour to go through the castle. We ended up just walking through, reading the few descriptions that were in English. We should have been instructed to download this before the tour! The Positives: - Orava Castle- inspite of the lack of a tour - High Tatras lake area- beautiful lake with majestic mountain backdrop. - Drivers were pleasant. The Cons: - Rushed- lack of any quality time at each location - Too long of a day- 16 hours, advertised for 13 (already a long day) - Lack of actual tour, primarily a van shuttle.

Avoid.. this day trip lasts between 15-16 hours.. we were picked up at 7.20am and we're dropped off at the end of the tour at 10.35pm. This day trip is all driving. We visited 4 sites, the wooden houses, 2 castles and the lake. You get between 30-45 minutes at each site, and they are 100's of kilometers apart from each other, some on very curved roads. If u just want a photo of a castle or house or lake, and dont mind spending a day in a mini van, this might work for you. If u want to experience the site and spend time there, then this most definitely isn't for you. I also dont think its safe for 1 person to be driving as much as our poor guide had to drive in one day. Great guy, but must have been exhausted by the end of the day. Avoid
