The full moon was simply magical tonight. You were invited for the sunset and moonrise experience without knowing exactly what I had in mind… but I knew. That’s why I wanted to give you some extra time on board, so you could experience the full moon rising over the Algarve from the sea. Some moments are simply too special to rush. At Algarve On Board, we don’t worry about the clock. Dear Angela, I believe there may have been a misunderstanding, as it seems you may have reviewed the wrong company. We are based at Lagos Marina. We do not operate from a trailer, and our team is highly experienced. We also do not have queues for boarding, as all of our cruises are private. Our guests are welcomed on board and receive a wonderful picnic basket with wine (white or rosé), soft drinks, water, fresh fruit, bread, pastéis de nata, and other little treats that we carefully provide as part of our experience. Unfortunately, based on the details you have described, we were not the company that provided your cruise. I believe you may be referring to a small company operating from Portimão, which has a trailer at a more remote location, very similar to the one you describe in your review. For this reason, we will contact Tripadvisor/Viator and request that your review be removed, as it clearly appears to refer to a different operator. We are proud that our reviews consistently reflect the experience our guests receive with us (we receive only 5 stars at the end of our tours), and we are currently ranked #1 among 235 Tours & Activities in Lagos. Nevertheless, we would be delighted to welcome you on a future visit to the Algarve and give you the experience we are known for, with the same level of quality and care that our guests receive from the moment they arrive at the marina, even before stepping aboard one of our boats with our communication.
