港から出発し、ゼア・マリーナ、カステラ、ミクロリマーノなどの景勝地をドライブ。 ファリーロ地区へ向かい、市内最古の港や平和友好スタジアムなど2004年オリンピックの注目会場を通ります。
ギリシャ議会と無名戦士の墓があるシンタグマ広場はギリシャ民主主義の中心的シンボルである。
1896年に初めて近代オリンピックが開催された歴史的な場所である、大理石で造られたパナテナイ・スタジアム。 また、オリンピアの不朽の精神を象徴するように、各大会前にオリンピックの炎の引継式も行われる。
古代世界最大規模の神殿であったオリンピア・ゼウス神殿は、オリンピアの神々の王を祀っていた。 現存する円柱はわずかだが、その規模は古代アテネの壮大さを今も反映している。
ハドリアヌス凱旋門はローマ皇帝ハドリアヌスを称えるために建てられた記念碑的な門である。 今日では、古代アテネの中心部への歴史的な入り口となり、オリンピア・ゼウス神殿の近くに誇らしげに建っています。

We had such a great time on this walking tour! The experience started with a comfortable minibus that stopped at any sights we wanted along the way, giving us the flexibility to see more of the city. Once we began the walking tour, we were met by an enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide who shared so much insight into the area’s history and culture. Since the weather was quite hot, she made sure to give us plenty of breaks, including a stop to grab some water, which was really thoughtful. After exploring the city, the minibus picked us up again and dropped us back at the port, making the whole experience seamless and stress-free. Highly recommend this tour for a fun and well-organized way to discover the city!
