This is an easy way to easily see prominent sites here in Kyoto. We appreciated the quick opportunity to drive between sites and walk around with a knowledgeable guide, Malik. Note that this is what you make of it - while there’s a recommended order of activities, you can ask to stay longer or reorganize as the group wishes - that’s the value of a private tour like this one. Note that you are still responsible for buying entry tickets where applicable and there will still be significant crowds at some of these sites depending on time. Definitely worth doing.

Malik is the best!
Malik was so wonderful! We had no idea what to do or where to go. We just met Malik and he took us to the coolest places to see in Kyoto. He was super chill- we wanted to try this steak place for lunch and he took us there and patiently waited for us to eat and was back to pick us up as soon as we were ready to go. Highly recommend!!

Malik is an excellent tour guide. He speaks English very clearly so that we all were able to understand. He was very accommodative to customize the tours as we needed. I am pretty sure that Malik is an asset to your company and please look after him well.

Full day tour of Kyoto
Our driver/ guide was excellent. His name is Malik. He is very good driver and speaks fluent English. He is very knowledgeable about Kyoto’s major attractions. The car was very comfortable.

The best tour in Kyoto
Dahanu was our guide. He was simply fantastic. We saw a lot of the major sites in Kyoto but never felt rushed. More importantly, Dahanu clearly cared that our experience was as great as it possibly could be.

Good but could be better
Expect to pay 20000 yen to go to Kyoto and an additional to go to Nara in cash. No receipt. If you ask for a receipt they will charge you extra. Very disappointed with this. I don’t care about the additional cost but I would like proof that I paid! Having said that our driver was kind and courteous and very helpful. Great with my brother who is in a wheel chair.
