We first contacted Wild Nomads 2 days before our trip due to an unforeseen injury resulting in us needing to cancel a separate group hiking tour. We were in contact with the founder, Nikita, who was very quick to respond and extremely accommodating at such short notice. Nikita was able to organise a private tour for us so we could visit Charyn Canyon, Black Canyon, Kolsai Lake and Kaindy Lake. Arken was our tour guide and he was an extremely helpful, funny and accommodating guide. We had a great time with him in the car while travelling to each attraction. We were given plenty of time at each stop to relax and enjoy the sights without feeling rushed, especially given our circumstances with the injury. We thoroughly enjoyed the entire day, which started at 05:30 and finished at about 22:00. It was a long day but we had a fantastic time seeing such beautiful views and nature. Arken brought us to a lovely local restaurant where we tried plov for the first time upon his recommendation, and it was delightful. We cannot recommend Wild Nomads and Arken enough, and truly had a great time.

While researching tours to Almaty Lakes & the canyons, I came across several reviews of Wild Nomad Travel on TripAdvisor. One of the reviews happened to mention the founder, Nikita, so I decided to look for him on social media. I found his TikTok account & sent him a direct message. To my surprise, he replied & from there, I had the opportunity to deal directly with the founder himself. I told Nick about my daughter’s scoliosis condition & the concerns we had regarding her physical condition during the tour. He was incredibly considerate & understanding from the very beginning. Rather than simply offering a standard tour package, he took the time to understand our situation & worked to tailor the tour according to my daughter’s needs. It is not often that you get to communicate directly with the founder of a travel company & even rarer to meet someone who is so personally invested in making sure his guests have a good experience. Our driver/guide, Artem was so friendly, knowledgeable & incredibly helpful throughout the day. He took great pictures too! The scenery was breathtaking, the journey itself was an adventure & the lunch was delicious. We were also given ample time & flexibility to pray comfortably throughout the tour, which we truly appreciate. Everything was arranged so smoothly that we could simply enjoy the experience. Great day. The organization beforehand and on-site was flawless. Nikita was a fantastic, experienced guide and was able to expertly answer our questions about Kazakhstan, its culture, and landscape. The sights were excellent. Because he knew the times when there were few people at the attractions, it was never overcrowded. At the end of the day, he showed us a restaurant with local dishes (a hidden gem). Highly recommended. By the end of the day, one is tired and exhausted, but very happy.

I want to share the recommendation of the Wild Nomands service. I was looking for an interesting tour that would include several locations, an individual approach, and a guide with his car. It turned out to be a difficult task. I got the reels of the Wild Nomands team on Instagram, and I took the risk to contact them and didn't regret it. The operator was polite, attentive to the details of my request and arranged the trip on the date I needed. Special thanks to the guide Nikita, who conducted the tour in great detail, with humor, care and great love for his work. The organization is at a very good level.

Wow, what an unforgettable day! We went on a private jeep tour from Almaty to Kolsay, Kaindy, and Charyn Canyon, and honestly, it was incredible from start to finish. Everything was so smooth and well organized , honestly, the views looked unreal. Kolsay was so peaceful and stunning, Kaindy was magical, and Charyn Canyon completely blew us away -like a mini Grand Canyon right here in Kazakhstan! Massive thanks to the amazing team at QazaqAdventure and especially Nikita. You could tell they truly love what they do. Our guide was super professional, full of knowledge, and made us feel completely taken care of the whole day. We didn’t just see these places - we felt them, lived them, and will never forget them. If you’re in Almaty, don’t even think twice -just book it. Totally worth every second!
