We had a fantastic experience doing the Mediterranean Odyssey class. The demonstration was informative and fun. All the staff were lovely and so supportive during the cook. With 4 people to a bench there’s lots of space and everyone gets to be involved in the whole process. The quality of ingredients was top grade and the food so tasty. We enjoyed our beautiful lunch with a nice cold glass of wine in the lovely new cooking school facilities.

Fantastic experience that left us with the confidence to cook the dishes at home. As interstate tourists it provided a great way to meet people, have delicious seafood and have a uniquely Sydney experience.

This is our second cooking class at the Sydney Fish Markets and once again it was a fantastic night out. Jen our cooking instructor is just fabulous. We took friends with us this trip and everyone had a fabulous night. I could only highly recommend this experience. Also book a tour of the Fish markets it’s also an amazing experience.

Second time we have been to a Seafood school experience, highly recommend, chef & staff make you feel welcomed.

Elegant, modern, luxurious!!!! The theater demo and the actual cooking class was amazing, we prepared prawns and oysters they were amazing!!!!!!

Following the recent opening of the brand-new fish markets, we thought we would try out Sydney Seafood School. The brand-new seafood school is fantastic. A great way to learn how to cook seafood, learn about cooking in general, learn about seafood and meet people along the way. You start out by sitting in an auditorium, watching one of the friendly staff cook the meal that you will end up cooking. Afterwards, you head outside to the benches to start to prepare and cook the same meal yourself. It’s absolutely hands-on but not at all daunting because there are staff there to help. I’m a beginner to medium level cook and learnt a lot about seafood and how to cook it along with how to prepare other things like salads too. The wonderful environment is a nice place to meet people with great outlooks of the seafood markets and Sydney shorelines as well. I would highly recommend attending a course with a partner or a bunch of friends, you will have a lot of fun and get to enjoy wonderful freshly cooked seafood with a glass of wine in a brand-new environment. So much fun !

This class was mind-blowing! My best friend and I had the most incredible time together. This was her birthday gift. The teachers/chefs were amazing, helpful and fun. The layout of the kitchen was super cool. Everything was very well planned and completed on time. I don't normally cook at home, so it was very intimidating watching the teachers demonstrate the cooking, but once I started preparing and cooking the food, it was easy. The food was so delicious!! 100% hands down one of the best experiences I've had in a long time. I'm already looking into doing another class with more friends. Thank you for such a memorable and fun day.
