Nancy, our driver and guide, was wonderful! The tour was private for the two of us. A very enjoyable personal experience with Nancy making us feel right at home while enjoying the local culture. She treated us to a song or two for added entertainment! Very worthwhile and enjoyable!
This tour was excellent. Very knowledgeable and pleasant driver and the actual Wine Tasting event exceeded our expectations both in the quality of the wine and the quantity of the food provided.
Absolutely wonderful experience. Salvo our guide and driver was friendly, helpful, fun, knowledgeable and patient. We stopped at a honey farm for some great tasting and then at a village ( last before Etna) with a beautiful church. Perfectly timed for a great walk at Mount Etna’s craters and then onto the most memorable and generous wine tasting and food pairing experience at the Gambino vineyard.
Great tour! Nancy was great! The drive up to the volcano was nice, we made a few stops for photos, to see a church and to do some wine and honey and olive oil tasting. And then the lunch and wine tasting after the visit was amazing. Definitely a must do!

Although our driver was very lovely and polite , upon picking us up she informed us that she was more a driver than a guide . We went to all the stops yet at the craters and violcano portions we got a limited explanation . There was also no Segway portion involved . The stops at local honey farm and winery were very good though . There was an issue with the air conditioning in our car and at one point we had to stop and switch cars .

Our driver/host is a professional with extensive knowledge of the territory, the places visited, and the experience itself. For guests who would like a more technical, scientific, and volcanological insight into Mount Etna, a specialized volcanological guide can be arranged upon request. As stated in the description, this is a private and customizable tour, and we can therefore incorporate specific activities, services, or requests into the itinerary, tailoring the day to our guests’ individual preferences. The Segway experience was also not part of the itinerary or among the services included in the experience you booked. Regarding the air-conditioning issue, we sincerely apologize for the unexpected inconvenience. Unfortunately, a technical problem can occur without warning and entirely beyond our control. What makes the difference, however, is how such an issue is handled: we acted immediately, and a replacement vehicle arrived in less than five minutes, allowing the tour to continue with as little disruption as possible. For us, professionalism and efficiency mean exactly this: being present, responding quickly, and finding an immediate solution whenever an unforeseen issue occurs. We had an amazing trip! Our driver and guide Valeria was very friendly, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to make sure we have the best time.
We had an incredible experience today. First we stopped to taste honey and a few few different wines. Next we ventured into a lava cave, before arriving at the Silvestri craters at 2000 meters. What an amazing place, we felt like walking on the moon! The final stop was at the Gambino Vineyard, where we had a great wine tasting! The wine was paired perfectly with local food. Our driver Salvo gave us an unforgettable day at Etna, sharing tons of information about Sicily, the volcano and so much more! Thank you so much for this unique and memorable day! 🤩 Michelina & Rune
Great tour of Mt. Etna and history of the villages. You should be mindful there is some minor walking up a crater for an amazing view, so Wear shoes with good traction, a hat, and sunglasses as it can get windy. Mt. Etna is an active volcano so expect ashe to whip around! After that the winery tour and tasting is what you need to too top off your visit.
Our driver Salvo picked us up right out side our hotel. He was super nice, answered all our questions with great enthuziasm, and a big plus for being very funny. The tour was a very good combination of active and relaxing. It was really interesting to see Etna up close, and the wines and food at Gambino was really good. Would definently recommend to book this trip.
