This was an intense tour in terms of volume of interesting information given about the city's past and present. But you do not walk too far, and advice is given about the different parts of the city and monuments that you do not get time to see, so you can visit them later, and also on places to eat. Jeanne was a superbly knowledgeable guide not just in respect of what she had prepared to talk about but also in answering questions.

Our guide, Camilla, was a very perky and informed transplant from Colombia/Canada. She knew her history and even emailed us a list of recommendations when the tour was over. The reason for only four stars is that, halfway through, she said we could take a break and get a cup of coffee or a glass of wine. We didn’t want anything since we had a big breakfast, but there was no indication that the wine was included in the tour. So, for 20 min., we sat and waited on one side of the plaza while she sat on the other. It didn’t seem to us that she should have needed a break since the tour wasn’t that long. And it seems she should have offered to pay for our wine (or coffee) if it was included. All in all, probably not worth the price.

Víctor was a great tour guide. Very knowledgeable and a friendly personality. He showed us many of the highlights of the center of Bordeaux.

Great opportunity to understand the historical and current Bordeaux in a private tour. Victor was an excellent guide and added more details on aspects in which we had particular interest. Can recommend more! The time just flew!

We met our guide a few minutes late due to traffic and parking issues but he was very accomodating. Guide was very knowledgeable and personable and I would definitely recommend him.

Victor, our guide, was very knowledgeable about the history of Bordeaux, it’s wine origin, architecture, 300 year rule by Great Britain and the mayor for 50 years that made improvements to the city making it more walkable, bikable and less car traffic.
