I visited with my mum but was a little worried about the soap because I have sensitive skin. When I saw how much was used during the treatment, I decided it probably wasn’t right for me. The staff were incredibly understanding and kindly gave me a refund.
My mum went ahead and had a great experience. There was a slightly unusual smell, and it’s worth knowing that this is a public hammam, but the service was lovely throughout. They offered Turkish delight and tea to everyone in our group, including those of us who weren’t having a treatment. Such a kind gesture!
