Gi, our driver and tour guide, did a great job showing us usual highlights of Helsinki and area stopping so we could experience the places up close and to take photographs. While there are many things to see, the Helsinki Library is definitely one you should not be missed. Gi modified the excursion to make it easy for my wife (who is wheelchair bound) to enjoy and participate. An added surprise was a visit to the major bomb shelter deep underneath the city large enough for 1,000,000 people. During the whole time we learned about the Finnish people, culture, and history.
