This tour sets itself apart from the others by caring about its clients and ensuring they truly enjoy the day! Roberto was very informative and friendly. He even came by our hotel to get us where other tours would only meet us at a bus stop which we were unfamiliar with since this was our first trip to Madeira. Six stars!

We had a very informative and pleasant day with Roberto and the other four passengers. When the road was closed due to an event occurring at Pico Areeiro, he quickly pivoted and took another route. Very upbeat and organized, the van was very comfortable, driving was excellent, and he nimbly switched from speaking Italian to English, including all of us. He even picked us up at our hotel vs the previous tour who had us go to a bus stop we weren’t familiar with. He was very knowledgeable and after the tour, gave us an authentic, local dinner place to try for dinner. Definitely worth the money and highly recommend !

We did a trip with Roberto from Funchal to explore the east of Madeira. Roberto is an excellent tour guide who takes absolutely care of his guests. We saw more than expected and received a lot of information from Roberto on flora and fauna of Madeira. And we learned a lot of the history and development of the island. We do more than recommend this tour. This is a must for any visitor of Madeira.

Had a fantastic time in the EQV and toured around with Roberto Câmara and saw the most amazing places off the beaten track. I definitely recommend this private tour for first time visitors to Madeira.

Roberto was truly unique! Friendly, competent, and with perfect Italian, what more could you want?! He took us to fantastic places, and along the way, there was no shortage of stories about the history of Madeira and interesting facts about the vegetation! Simply excellent. We usually book 4x4 jeep safaris when on holiday but so glad we gave this Eastern Tour in a Mercedes EV a go. So comfortable, so quiet, so clean. Roberto is clearly passionate about what he does, the island and its flora & fauna which made this such a great day. Stunning scenery, delightful lunch all at a relaxed pace. Just wish we’d found this earlier so we could also have done the West tour as well. Excellent.
