Our trip Tbilisi-Stepantsminda-Tbilisi left quite good impressions, but not in all aspects. Let's start with something good, the Spartak driver, who was with us on the way to Stepantsminda, turned out to be extremely welcoming and a pleasant conversationalist who brightened our journey and smoothed over the impressions from the guide named Lexo, but we will come back to him later. I would also like to thank the guide Natalia, who accompanied us on the way back to Tbilisi for the good atmosphere and creating comfortable communication in Russian and English. Well, there were some unpleasant moments, such as the guide Lexo, who was with us on the way to Kazbegi. It all started with a rather rude remark directed at us; sitting in the front seat, we didn't hear when he started his presentation and had the "audacity" to continue our conversation among ourselves, for which we received a reprimand in a harsh tone, as if we were schoolchildren. The troubles haven't ended here. A feeling of discomfort was present throughout the journey and its indifference to the group was very noticeable. There was also a moment concerning the Russian language; knowing that the guide could speak Russian, I only dared to ask a question using it, to which I received such an answer, "Speak in English!", in the same rude manner. Overall, summing up, I can say with confidence that for its price, the tour is good, especially the option for flexible returns.

Our first journey to Kazbegi with Lekso was super bad, he was very RUDE, told us to shut up when we weren’t even talking and we didn’t feel welcomed at all. He made us feel very uncomfortable throughout. But our trip back to Tbilisi with Natalie was AMAZING. 10/10 guide. She welcomed us with a smile and we feel very taken care of, every guide should be like her, and tourists will feel comfortable, unlike Lekso. For the long car journey though, you are not allowed to eat and drink anything other than water, which I think is quite a problem if it’s a long drive.

We really enjoyed this tour, as the tour is well arranged, the bus is very cozy, punctual to pick us up after one night spent in Kazbegi, and more importantly our guide Natalia is very helpful, outgoing and so so nice, and she created a great atmosphere for the whole group, which makes this trip the best. Would definitely recommend this tour and Natalia as the guide~

Mari was an excellent tour guide, giving us lots of historical, geographical and cultural information throughout our trip. The bus wasn’t the easiest to find, but we got on the right one, and it was really nice that they waited for us as our taxi was delayed. I would recommend anyone who wants to do this tour to aim to come 30 minutes before the departure so that you have enough time. We spent a good amount of time at each location, and each location was both affordable/free and so so beautiful. You must go on this tour if you have a day to spare in Tbilisi. I wish there was a bit more time at the church at Qazbegi, but it was such a worthwhile trip. Mari really made sure the experience was great in every way, from answering questions, to making sure we got back to the coach in time to continue to the next location.

Tour guide Mari explained and guided us very carefully. Japanese people, who could barely speak English on their own, were supported by translation apps and such.

The Georgian - Russian monument is totally worth visiting (I would only recommend the visit to be longer; maybe the first 2 stops could be shorter instead)! The driver Spartak was amazing and gave us a great insight into the Georgian way of living, culture and traditions.
