We have discovered the value in Food Tours when we travel and this was no exception. We were on a cruise but booked this tour independently with TripAdvisor because it seemed so much better than the options provided to us by the ship. We did this tour with just one other couple, so a small group. First stop was a whole lobster roll; second was oysters; third was a sandwich roll from a pizza restaurant which was spicy and I did not care for and last stop was the best ice cream shop in Halifax. Despite my disappointment with the third option, I would do again.

We had a great time. The guide was extremely knowledgeable about the area. The food was awesome. Definitely recommend.

This was a great tour! We got to sample a variety of local foods and learn about the history and culture of the city at the same time. All of the food was outstanding! Our guide was patient and informative. She made sure we were comfortable with the foods we tried. My husband and I are not oyster people. She gave us the option to sample something else, but we tried them and enjoyed the selection she chose for us! We thought it was the right amount of walking and time between stops.

Emi showed us some wonderful and diverse food options in Halifax She was also very informative about the city. We went back to dine at several of the restaurants during the remainder of our stay. This excursion was well worth the time and cost.

I had a great time walking around Downtown Halifax and sampling the food. Entered is personable and knows quite a lot about the history of the city. I definitely recommend him as your guide!

Emme (spelling) was fantastic. Had great knowledge of Halifax, and the food selections were awesome. We are going back today for the chowder we had (1 of 5 food items we ate), the chowder was awesome.

This was an excellent tour with great samplings of local foods. Our guide Emi was really great, personable and knowledgeable. We travel a lot and this is one of the best food tours we have taken.

Our guide was fabulous. So knowledgeable about the food, the city, history and so much about Nova Scotia and the area. Really enjoyed the food and her enthusiasm for her job. 5stars.
