Warm welcome to Denis. Relaxed atmosphere. A calm good explanation of both jewelry making and Bosnian coffee. You got enough time on a practice piece and then all the time to make your final piece to take home. All the steps needed to reach the final result were calmly explained and the small group could see it well! We had a great experience and kept a nice piece of jewelry.

The best thing we did in Mostar. Our teacher was so friendly and helpful, demonstrating techniques and allowing us time to practice before making our bracelets. He even provided Bosnian coffee and explained how to make and drink it! We love our bracelets and are delighted to have both an amazing experience and keepsake to take home with us.

Very informative, fun activity, well done. Our family (ages 15 - 70) all enjoyed making our own piece of jewelry.

Absolutely brilliant, such a different experience for my birthday.

If you are visiting Mostar, this is must do. Almir welcomed us warmly, made us traditional coffee and show us through the store. We sat outside under fig tree and did our workshop. Almir is very knowledgeable and patiently explained to us every step how to make our piece of art. It was quite an experience. Store is tucked away from a crowd, and we really enjoyed our workshop. It was worth the money spent. We even stayed little longer as we are chatting for too long. Great for solo, family, group of friends, for everyone. You do not have to have any prior knowledge.

If you love local art and a personal experience, this is for you. Quality jewelry, artist & teacher, has 30+ years… and if you listen… you’ll learn more than art.

This was definitely a must do and the highlight of our visit to Mostar. Why buy jewelry when you can make your own? The experience took just shy of 2 hrs. I made a bracelet and my husband made a pendant to use as a christmas ornament. The end products look very professional. We also loved supporting a local artist.

My wife and I had an awesome time with Denis. He gave us a really good introduction to working with copper and showed us how to use the different tools to create our own designs. We started with a practice piece before moving on to the real thing, which worked really well. I especially enjoyed seeing the chemical treatment of the copper at the end and watching the design come out properly. We were also treated to a Bosnian coffee and shown how to make it authentically, which was a really nice touch. It was just a great way to spend the afternoon, relaxed, creative and quite mindful. We both really enjoyed it and came away with something unique that we’d made ourselves. Definitely recommended if you’re in Mostar.

This was a great activity in Mostar. Particularly on a rainy day. We had a choice of pieces to make and a practice piece to get used to the hammering needed. We also got authentic Bosnian coffee and heard all about the copper history of the town. Would recommend!

This jewelry making workshop was one of my favourite parts of visiting Mostar. Everyone in the studio was so kind and Denis was not only a great teacher, but also lovely to chat with and shared some book recommendations with me (and let me purchase one from the studio—thanks again!) . I would absolutely come back here :)
