An experience absolutely worth doing... well-organized outing at the right price with a duration of about 4 hours... Pig Island is unique and spectacular... recommended!

Good fun half day tour.
Great afternoon fun, first visiting pig island, stopping for some snorkelling, then another island for lunch! Private longboat in bad weather coming home was a white knuckle ride, but a good holiday experience - and friendly guide and captain.

Nice outing on the water
The boat ride, islands and lunch were fantastic! The pickup communication was difficult and the van had no air conditioning. The return trip was good.

Excellent tour
Very good experience with seeing the pigs in the island. The boat driver gave enough time to do everything and also good vibes with the music on the boat

We didn’t like the pigs...
We didn’t like the pigs as there wasn’t much to do on the island beyond giving them water or buying them food, other than a bar. Snorkelling was good and was shallow with a good variety of fish and coral.

Not to be missed!
This was a brilliant trip. Very slick and organised. Pig island, and then snorkelling off Ko Tan, and then lunch on the island (just delicious!), and then another stop for a swim and snorkel before heading back to Samui. We were offered lots of water and there was plenty of shade on the boat. We all loved it!

‘The pigs didn’t look well cared for at all!’
I personally feel ashamed that I took part in the tour. The pictures advertising this trip looks amazing, there’s healthy and happy pigs with a clean tidy beach. Unfortunately the reality isn’t the same as the pictures.
We were one of the first boats to visit the island, there’s a small beach bar offering drinks, light snacks and weed as well as dog and pig food (all has to be paid for).
When we saw the pigs there was a lot of them, we bought some food and they were all really hungry. They couldn’t have eaten the food fast enough.
Unfortunately loads of tourists were just taking pictures and not feeding the pigs. We bought six bags of food as we couldn’t bare seeing how hungry they were.
If you want to visit this dreadful place, please use the bowls provided and don’t sprinkle onto the sand. We also bought bottles of water and gave to the pigs as well, they were so thirsty. From what we could they had no access to clean water. I’m not surprised how thirsty they were, when they’re eating sand and being fed SEA WATER from tourists, day in, day out.
The pigs didn’t look well cared for at all! They looked dirty, had scabs on their backs and some had growths underneath their bodies.
There’s an information board telling you the story on how the pigs came to live on the island. The story starts genuine and seems like the owner wanted to give the pigs a better life. Now it’s become a big money making scheme, charging entry to the island and putting the animals welfare as a last resort.
Overall, I would NOT recommend this island at all. They need to make some serious changes to make the animals welfare a priority. If you do decide to visit please, please, please feed and water the pigs. The water is only 20 Thai baht a bottle and the food is 50 Thai baht a bag.
**On a positive note, the captain and your woman who took us to the island were lovely. They kept us hydrated and spoke good English**

We read your review. These are wild pigs on the island; they look after themselves. Nobody takes care of them, that's their natural environment. Like all animals, some days they're happy, some days they're bored.

My kids are still talking about it!
Such a family-friendly tour!
Our boys couldn’t stop laughing at the pigs swimming around and lying in the sand.
The boat ride was calm and the snorkeling spot near Koh Tan was safe and beautiful. Loved every moment.
