Our one-day hike to Kilimanjaro with Hilltop Travel was truly unforgettable. My friend and I, visiting from Malta, had never walked such a long distance before, and reaching Mandara Hut felt like a huge accomplishment. The forest trail was peaceful, the air crisp and refreshing, and the scenery simply breathtaking. One of the highlights was spotting a blue monkey grazing, we were lucky enough to spend over 30 minutes just observing it. It was such a calm, magical moment in the heart of nature. Our guide, Daniel, was outstanding. He shared incredible stories about Kilimanjaro, the animals, and the Chagga culture. His passion made the journey even more special. We also loved exchanging safari stories with him, it felt like we were hiking with a friend. I was in Tanzania and happened to have one day left to sign up for a 1-day hike on Kilimanjaro. Our guide Daniel arrived early to pick us up at the hotel and the day was very silky and smooth. Daniel shares the insights and knowledge of this mountain with us while hiking. We were moved by his care to learn that my mother and I had come from China to prepare a Chinese flag at our destination that day. Overall, this was a very good trip, the guide was warm, easygoing and helpful, making my experience difficult, recommended!
