I booked on very short notice, just one day before the city tour, since we were only in Tashkent for 1.5 days. We were picked up directly from the hotel and Akrom accommodated our wishes. We wanted to learn more about Uzbek culture and history and we did so to the fullest extent. Our city guide Akrom really has a lot of knowledge and is also a good storyteller. Thank you very much for a beautiful experience.
It was a really good time. Thanks to the friendly service and pleasant experience, it became an unforgettable memory. Recommend!
Tour guide Sardor was polite, knowledgeable and friendly. Immediately bought waters as it was hot weather. So much to see in the city - one tour not enough! Beautiful Islamic center and history. Try the food in the market at Chorsu - very tasty, nuts, fruit, teas of many flavors. Don’t miss the underground/subway - well worth a visit.
Tashkent is a capital city of Uzbekistan. We visited so many places like Amir Temur Museum, Islamic civilization, Chorsu bazar. The city is so neat and clean. We used a double decker bus ta go around the city. Thank you Mr. Shoruh

He's an experienced guide who has been very careful to turn the pages of the city's history, showing how they intertwine with the canvas of modernity. Ancient mosques and bazaars were adjacent to modern quarters in his story, and this had the surprising effect of revealing his mysteries step by step. We had just a few hours in Tashkent with our 6 year old son but wanted to learn about the country so we booked this private tour for added flexibility. Lola came to pick us up and WOW we were immediately impressed with her wealth of knowledge about the country. Our favorite experience with her was definitely when she took us to Chorsu Bazaar where we had direct experiences with the kind locals and tried some Uzbekistan “must eats”. Thank you Lola for the short but sweet experience of Uzbekistan!!!
I deducted 2 stars for the 2 hours I had to wait in the cold to get picked up. Our tour was scheduled for 3:30pm, but our tour guide didn't show up until 5:30pm. We were in communication while I waited, but even the communication was misleading. He told me he was running a little behind because he was finishing up a previous tour. But when I would ask how long, or what his estimated arrival time was, he would say things like, I'm still coming or soon. That part was a bit frustrating, being stranded in another country. But the tour itself was pretty cool.
Had an amazing half day tour with Asrorbek, young passionate guide taking me around Tashkent local style! He was very informative, respectful and pleasant- it was really good and fun tour 💯
