Good service and very good driver to navigate the tough terrain

Our guide, Mr. Vohidjon, was truly exceptional and is hands down the best tour guide I’ve ever had. Perhaps because of his past experience working in a hotel, his service and hospitality were remarkably professional and attentive. Even though it was an early morning after the exhausting border crossing, he kindly took us to explore the local market (Panjakent Bazaar). He made sure we could experience the vibrant local market atmosphere, helped us with currency exchange, and even took us to a spot where we could buy magnets. There, he bought freshly baked, piping-hot traditional bread (non) and shared it with everyone. It was so hot we could barely hold it, and it was the most delicious bread I’ve ever tasted! He seemed like such a genuinely good person, acting like a caring father figure throughout the trip as he shared stories about working hard for his two sons. What touched me the most was his incredible attention to detail. At the final stop of the Seven Lakes, he pulled out a watermelon that he had kept chilling in the cold water and sliced it for us to enjoy with our lunch boxes. He was also endlessly patient and kind, taking wonderful photos for every single person on the tour. His warm hospitality turned a great trip into an unforgettable experience. Even though my accommodation wasn't on their original list, the agency handled the pickup arrangement so kindly and smoothly. I gladly gave Mr. Vohidjon a tip, joking, 'This isn't for you—this is for your second son!' If you take the Seven Lakes tour, I truly hope you get to meet him. Highly, highly recommended!

A day that lived up to all its promises. The scenery is stunning, and everything went perfectly, from crossing the border to reaching the lakes. We had plenty of time to enjoy these magnificent mountains in just one day. The visit to the Sarazm Museum at the end of the day was the perfect way to round off this day trip. I managed to see the wonderful seven lakes of Tajikistan in one day, it was a bit hard but fun! The driver's fierce off-road driving skills were also wonderful.

For this high price that is being charged here, it is honestly not worth it. The lakes and the nature look like they do in the pictures, so the expectations were met. However, our tour guide was more occupied with flirting with the female participants instead of giving us information about Tajikistan or the lakes. The border crossing unfortunately took almost 2h, which of course was not the fault of the tour. However, you then stand in Tajikistan after the border and do not know where you have to go, which of the buses belongs to this tour, etc. The absolute kicker is also that you do this tour in an (uncomfortable) bus with 14 other people, which was never mentioned. And at a price of >60€ it is also not appropriate. Furthermore, you then drive in a convoy of approx. 3 buses with just as many tourists, which is why approx. 50 people are milling about at every stop at once. The tour was simply unprofessional

I was able to fully enjoy the beautiful nature of the mountains and lakes thanks to the good weather. The guide, Anvarxon, was very kind, polite, and smart, and it was a fun tour. Beyond the border of Tajikistan, after leaving the city, it's a bumpy, unpaved mountain road for 30 kilometers one way? Because I run for a long time, just riding it is quite tiring. Since you will be driving on rough roads for over two hours round trip, those who are prone to motion sickness should take precautions beforehand. We stopped by the bazaar on the way back, but we didn't go to the Historical Museum or the Sarazm Ruins mentioned (though I think we could have been taken there, we didn't because we were quite tired just from the Seven Lakes), so if these are your objectives, you should check with the guide first. Since Anvarxon bought water, bread, fruit, and other things for us along the way, we didn't need to exchange currency, but if you want to eat properly, you can bring some simple food and eat it in the car or by the lake. Unlike the magnificent Samarkand, a historical heritage site, you can fully enjoy the vast nature of Tajikistan, which is not yet a tourist destination, making it perfect and recommended for a day trip.

The guide was very nice, helpful, and fair. He offered us other good tours at great prices after the tour and speaks English and Russian without any problems; we would do the tour again, very nice! Guide highly recommended.

Farida has been a great guide: welcoming, knowledgeable and easygoing. The beautiful landscape of the Fann Mountains and the views of the lakes are something you shouldn't miss during your trip. Highly recommended.

Amazing experience loved it all ❤️ Our guide Dilo was outstanding 💕 warm, friendly and most of all FUN 🎉Dilo had us singing and dancing op the mountains. She was also very informative and chatty. For a great day out of the city this tour is the one.

our guide, Dilo, was fantastic. She made sure we were dancing, happy and having fun, even providing music along the way. She brought such a great energy to the day! It is a long trip, and getting up and down the mountain does take a considerable amount of time, but the scenery and experience are absolutely worth it. If you're looking to experience Tajikistan in just one day, I would definitely recommend this tour!
