I am so glad I took the chance and booked outside the cruise line. Our guide, Marta, was waiting for us just outside the terminal right when we got off the ship. She took us directly to the animal rescue sanctuary, which was an unforgettable experience!!! Because we arrived early we were practically alone in the park with no crowds (all the large tour groups arrived just as we were leaving!). Our animal guide, Sonny, was incredible. His deep knowledge embraced us, and we learned so many interesting things about the local biodiversity and the animals- including butterflies, sloths, toucans, monkeys and more). It was amazing to see that all the animals have names they actually respond to, and many of them roam completely free in the park. We were so happy we got to interact with them!! To top It all off, the beach and anorkelling amazing!! Marta dropped us off safely inside the terminal. A big thank you to her for an awesome day!!! I would definitely recommend Roatan Dubon Tours to anybody visiting the Island!

Daniel and Carlos where amazing tour guides learned a lot from them and made me and my family feel like he was family

We did the Sloth & Monkey Sanctuary with Zip Line and Beach Break with Daniel as our tour guide and Carlos as our driver. Prior to departure, I communicated with Marta via WhatsApp and she responded quickly and professionally every time. Once we arrived, we had the BEST TIME! Daniel was welcoming from the start, and asked questions to match the experience to our tastes. First we did the zip line at Mayan Eden. Daniel handled checking us in and then Carlos drove us to the beginning. It was seamless! After the zip line, we went into the animal sanctuary at Mayan Eden, where Daniel left us in the capable hands of our guide. We got to interact with monkeys, macaws, toucans, kinkiju, and, my favorite, a three-toed sloth! After our animal adventure, we were picked up by Carlos and Daniel for our beach break. We got to see the beautiful scenery from high above while Daniel told us of the history of Roatán. Carlos was a fantastic driver and the van was comfortable and air conditioned. We could not have asked for a better day in Roatán!

Daniel and Carlos led an amazing tour today. We did the sloth and Monkeys, zip lining and beach. Carlos expertly navigated the island’s narrow and bumpy streets. Daniel was so friendly, knowledgeable and respectful. We never felt rushed.
