We have done walking food tours in other cities and were very excited about this one. Our tour guide was a disappointment. It was as if she was reading from a script. She was unable or unwilling to participate in a conversational style tour, even though me, my husband and son were literally the only people on the tour! And, she was watching and/or playing a video game on her phone the entire time, which she would watch/play while we were eating or drinking at the various establishments we visited. On the positive side, most of the food was great!
Dear Katie, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. I’m truly sorry to hear that your experience didn’t live up to your expectations, particularly with regard to the behavior of your guide. This is certainly not the level of service we aim to provide, and I sincerely apologize for this. It’s great to hear that you enjoyed most of the food on the tour, but I completely understand how important it is for the guide to create a warm and engaging atmosphere, especially during such an intimate group setting. Please know that we are taking this matter very seriously and will be addressing it directly to ensure it doesn’t happen again. We would love the chance to make things right. If you’re willing, please reach out to us so we can discuss how we can improve your experience and restore your trust. Thank you once again for bringing this to our attention. I hope we’ll have the opportunity to welcome you back in the future for a much better experience. Best regards, Claudia and the Walking Palates Team
