Victor was superb. He spent extra time with us, so we could tour inside the Alamo. He drove around to point out other sites and places to eat. He was very considerate of our needs in terms of walking pace, restrooms, and everything else. He provided water and snacks and took pix of us to email. He told us we were family now. It felt true. I gave him a big , sweaty hug at the end. He really went above and beyond. I can’t say enough about how great he was!!!!

Thank you so much for this wonderful review. It was a real pleasure spending the day with you and making sure you were comfortable while experiencing San Antonio. I’m especially glad we were able to spend some extra time at the Alamo and enjoy a few of my favorite local stops along the way.
By the end of an Experience, I often feel like I’m saying goodbye to friends rather than guests, and your big hug meant a lot to me. Thank you for choosing me to share San Antonio with you, and I hope our paths cross again someday.

Excellent Learning Experience At Beautiful and Historical Sites
I had a great experience experiencing and learning about Mission San Juan, Mission Concepcion, Mission Espada, and Mission San Jose with Victor. I had originally signed up for a small group tour, but because of the timing, received a private tour. This allowed me to ask unlimited questions and to have a more personalized experience with a couple extra stops. Victor also took numerous photos of me at the different sites-- something that's difficult to get as a solo traveler. He had plenty of water and snacks as well. At the end of the tour, he gave me recommendations about additional places to visit while I was in town. Overall, this was an excellent experience!

Thank you for the kind review, and for spending the day exploring the missions with me. I am glad the timing worked out and that the private format let you ask unlimited questions, slow down at the sites, and add a couple of extra stops. I also appreciate you mentioning the photos. I am happy to help solo travelers get great shots without the stress. Thank you as well for noticing the snacks and water. I want every guest to stay comfortable from start to finish. I hope the local recommendations helped you make the most of your time in San Antonio, and I would love to host you again on your next visit.

Outstanding tour with Victor!
Easily one of the best tours I’ve taken over decades of travel around the world. Victor is clearly an expert in local history. His breadth of knowledge, in depth understanding of history and personable demeanor result in an interesting and enjoyable tour of this fascinating city. The van was pristine and air conditioned. Tasty snacks and water provided. When I return to San Antonio, I will book another tour with Victor.

My favorite tour EVER!!!
I am a native of San Antonio and wanted to do a Mission trip with my boyfriend who is visiting from Argentina to show him more of my hometown’s history. Not only did my boyfriend have an incredible time seeing the missions and parts of San Antonio not always visited by tourists, but I too also learned so much about my own city. Victor is an incredible tour guide, knows the history of SATX through and through, but also shows a notable appreciation for the town, her missions, and her people that is greatly appreciated as a native myself. Without a doubt this tour has been the best tour I’ve taken, and to confirm I’ve done a lot of tours around San Antonio and Austin. More than worth the money and time, and I could not recommend Victor more. It’s a huge plus that he focused on small groups (in fact, when I did it, it was just my boyfriend and I so we had the honor of a private tour) which helps really get to ask questions and not be overwhelmed with a large crowd. Thank you so much again Victor!!! We loved everything.

Thank you so much for this wonderful review and for choosing my tour to share San Antonio's rich history with your boyfriend! It was truly my pleasure to show him the beauty and heritage of your hometown, and I'm honored that the experience meant so much to both of you.
Hearing that you, as a San Antonio native, discovered new aspects of your own city's history makes this all the more special to me. That's exactly what I hope to achieve with these tours - not just showing visitors the well-known attractions, but revealing the deeper stories and hidden gems that make San Antonio such a remarkable place.
I'm so glad the small group setting worked perfectly for you two and that you felt comfortable asking questions throughout the tour. Those intimate conversations and personal connections are what I value most about what I do.
Thank you for your kind words about my appreciation for San Antonio, its missions, and its people. This city and its history truly inspire me every day, and sharing that passion with guests like you is incredibly rewarding.
I hope you and your boyfriend created memories that will last a lifetime. Wishing you both all the best, and please don't hesitate to reach out if you ever want to explore more of San Antonio together!
With gratitude,
Victor
