Our tour with Fulvio was the best decision we made coming off our cruise. He took us to a quaint town Castelmola where we got to have an amazing cannolo, espresso and taste their almond liquor as well as filling our eyes with the very unique decor at Cafe Turrisi. He then took us to beautiful Taormina where he left us their to explore at our own pace. He later picked us up and brought us to a viewpoint so we could take pictures of Taormina's seaside. Fulvio was able to show us Castelmola, Taormina and Messina in a short time. We would definitely call Fulvio when we come back to Sicily. Thank you for an amazing day from the Sicilian/Canadians on the Norwegian.

Our tour was good. We covered a lot of ground having a private guide and driver. There are only 2 things I would suggest. #1 offer cold water to your guest, every other private tour we did in Italy and Greece did this and it was a nice touch and #2 Make sure the guide and driver engage more with the guest in the vehicle instead of only speaking to each other in Italian. This was still a solid tour and I do highly recommend it! We did approx 10 private tours in multiple areas and this one didn't stand out as much as some of the others, onky reason for 4 stars instead of 5.

Fulvio Is a great driver and tour guide for our trip to Taormina in Sicily. He waited us to get off the Celebrity Cruise Ship before our scheduled meeting time. He even used the last 15 minutes of our tour to bring us to the cathedral in Messina before he brought us to go back to the ship. Fulvio is not only a taxi driver but also a very good tour guide. He is passionate in showing his guests his country and he also treated us the real homemade cannoli at a local bakery in Castel Mola. We had enough time to walk around the town of Taormina and got to see the Greek Theatre and had really good gelato and walking around the shops before we went back to the mini van. Fulvio was very good with time management. It only took him 5 minutes to get to our meeting point at a busy road in Taormina after we called him! The beautiful day in Taormina didn’t end until Fulvio gave us a small panoramic tour. We four people were very pleased with his service and we were very lucky to have him as our tour guide for our trip to Taormina. He treated us like treating his good friends, not like doing a business with us. If you are interested in our itinerary: here’s the short description for your reference: We will leave from the port of Messina at 8:00/8:30, if you wish even earlier, after 50 minutes we will arrive at Castel Mola where you will have free time to visit it and have a Sicilian cannoli tasting. Afterwards we will go to Taormina where you will have plenty of time to visit it and then we will go to see the panorama of the beautiful island, then we will pass by the Ionian coast. We will return to Messina where we will do a small panoramic tour and then return to the port. I remind you that my tour is unlimited

Best ever tour guide fulvio, he was knowledgeable, friendly and kind,! Recommend for all to take this private tour worth every penny!

We thoroughly enjoyed our day in Sicily Fulvio ( our driver) and Asena ( our guide) picket us up right outside the Messina cruise port. They were waiting us when we disembarkedin a nice , clean,Air conditioned Mercedes Van. We first traveled to Castel Mola, where we visited an old castle and had a great viewing of My Etna. We the stopped for delicious cannoli and visited Bar Turrisi . We then traveled to Taormina, stopping for a view of Taormina’s Ancient Greec Theater and visiting the Sanctuary of Madonna Della Rocca along the way. In Taormina se hai a nice lunch, shopped for , a bit and visitedtheir beautiful botanical gardens and a magnificent church. We returned to Messina and visited Twitter beautiful Churches before returning to the ship. All in all it was a lovely experience one we would not have experienced on our penso. I Highly recommend this escursioni. Ask for Fulvio and Asena, they were a great Team !!!
