I'm sorry to say, but they didn't like it. They said the little speck of gold was already planed in the pot and it wasn't no gold in the water that was to get your attention. They wasted there money on the experience. They said never again.
Make sure you wear water proof boots or have rubber slip overs because you can, don’t have too, in to the river and get more sand to pan from. The tour guide was amazing and very helpful in teaching the techniques. Would do this again.
Our guide Justin was the BEST he made the trip fun and entertaining Very knowledgeable, kind, and friendly and willing to help us figure out the panning process Sweet guy and we want to recommend you to give him a raise!!
My family were really happy with the experience and were over the moon that they found gold! They didn’t do the combo tour, so they were a smaller group.
Our tour guide, Danny, was wonderful! She was funny and knowledgeable. It was a great experience. Someone in our group forgot their wallet in the fan. She must have called it in as the tour operator called us and Danny then brought the wallet to our group some miles away. Incredible service!
Danny was an outstanding tour guide! She was funny, entertaining, and extremely knowledgeable. Great fun!!
Fun experience and guide was great! Kiddos really enjoyed getting to learn how to pan for gold and then go out and do it themselves. We didn't find much (maybe $10 worth), but it was a super cool experience and so glad we did it! :-)
Amazing! Very friendly and knowledgeable guides. 5 stars for sure!! The son and the dog was so amazing too!
The history about the town and the gold rush was very interesting. The scenery was beautiful and the tour guide, Angel, was amazing. Learning how to pan for gold was enjoyable. However, it is a process and the time is limited.
We had a wonderful time gold panning with our entire family. Beautiful spot, Marlin was very knowledgeable and personable. I only wish it was longer. We had a beautiful day! There gold in them thar hills!
