We had booked this trip for 13 people. We walked to the pick up location and we were there on time. The operator never turned up we waited for 45mins and after Viator trying to contact them they confirmed they also couldn’t get in touch with them. The tour operator also never replied to any messages before the trip which did put some alarm bells up. There is no number to contact them directly only via the Viator site which wasn’t reliable. We are still waiting for a full refund.

We are actually missing the words how indescribable this day was today. Our driver was Made, an incredibly nice, courteous and humble driver who really impressed us with his enormous knowledge of the temples and other places. We never felt like we were on a booked tour, but to explore the various spots with a good local friend. We can fully recommend this driver and will book here again next time!

we were planning to hire the car but Hendrick changed our mind, we get to know him through (grab bali version of UBER )but this app banned in many district of bail and sometimes very hard to find taxi using it,Hendrick save us ,we took 2 full days ubud tour with him and he drove us back to nusa dua ,each time we paid 450k,reasonable price compare to 6 drivers that we talked ,he went over our expectation ,always gave us much more than we paid ,last day he took us to local market for souvenir(in Jimbaran with no extra charge ) which was like a heaven for shopper, very cheap compare to ubud center ,he took us to seafood restaurant that local eat there ,his English is very good and very easy to communicate ,his car very clean ,he is very passion for what he does not just for money ,just tell him what do you want to do in bali ,he will make it like perfect trip. this is his whats up:+62-859-4287-3300

This was the PERFECT day in Ubud! My friend and I were on vacation in Bali and had wanted to do many of the Ubud activities such as Tegenungan waterfall, shopping, coffee plantation, rice terraces, etc, but didn't really know how to combine them all into one. We considered renting a car ourselves, but I'm so glad we didn't because this tour combined everything we wanted to do and provided us with an amazing driver/tour guide/FRIEND in Bayu. Bayu picked us up on time at our hotel, and drove us to all the sites, while providing background information on each along the way. Bayu is extremely knowledgeable and was very kind and patient. After we hiked back up 100+ stairs in the heat at the waterfall, he patiently waited while I tried not to die. The car was comfortable and spacious, and Bayu had cold water and cold towels ready to cool us down on the hot day. The pace of the day was perfect, and I really enjoyed getting to know more about the Balinese culture. What a great experience!

Jun showed us around Ubud and made sure we did everything we truly wanted. He can tell a lot about traditional Balinese Culture. Thank you for our perfect day 😊

Nyoman is the perfect guy to set you up for transportation all around Bali, small group, large group, noisy group, any kind :) He will take you to the best attractions of the island, patiently and kindly explaining all the rituals, habbits, plants. You should definitely try rafting with this team also. Very good English

There are many private excursion options while visiting Ubud, but my wife and I would highly recommend you book with Ubud Friendly Driver. A few other companies share similar titles "friendly driver," but make sure you find Ubud Friendly Driver and Jun who is one of several drivers they offer. UFD offers several tour options, we chose the North Bali private tour during a weekday. The company is locally owned by Nyoman Astawa, we e-mailed with him several times prior to our arrival in deciding which tour we would book. Quick response time, friendly service, a truly Balinese welcome. On the day of our tour we booked for 9AM pick up service from our resort. During breakfast we were notified our driver had arrived (8:45AM) but there was no rush. We shortly thereafter met Jun who was welcoming and friendly. Initially there was confusion as Jun did not know which tour we booked. I had fortunately photographed the North Bali tour from their website and he agreed to show us those highlights. We also told Jun that we were open to any locations not pictured, more local and less touristy if he could recommend. Jun did not disappoint, and we quickly headed north. I believe we made six stops in total, highlights included Ulan Danu Temple (the floating temple), a beautiful and remote Buddhist Temple at Banjar Tegeha, Vihara (hope that's right), a local fruit market where we sampled durian, and beautiful backroads. We also stopped at Lovina beach for lunch. Jun graciously declined to eat with us, instead he gave my wife and I quiet time to soak in the views. He was a great driver and very informative of any questions we had for the 9 hours. It's important to note, he's a driver first and foremost....not a tour guide, you are hiring UFD for driving you not entertaining you. As others have noted, the fee for the day is also for him and the car. You should plan on having cash for entry / donation fees into the temples, buying fruit at the market and lunch. Would we recommend UFD? Absolutely without hesitation. While the day started a little awkward, it quickly rebounded and was a highlight of our two week visit to SE Asia. If you want to see and experience Bali not like a tourist, book with UFD to see places often bypassed. We had a fantastic experience and Jun was above and beyond.

I found myself on Bali with some time to spare so I headed off to Ubud and was recommended these guys. Their knowledge is second to none and we spent a great day seeing all the sights. Great food, great fun and great company!

The driver Jun spontaneously suggested a program according to my wishes. His English was very good, he himself very friendly. The day was definitely worth it! Booking via WhatsApp was extremely easy and convenient, the Service reliable, the car convenient and clean. I would certainly turn to Astawa and his crew again on a return to Bali, I can only recommend!
