We had a wonderful day with all details well thought out and we feel like we really did a lot for the amount of time. We had a very nice ride, adequate stops to stretch or use bathroom , meals were pre planned , Our guide Paul communicated great prior and during . He was alot of fun and very knowledgeable . Pickup and dropped back off right at our hotel. We couldn’t ask for a better day .
If you are visiting Las Vegas, this Grand Canyon tour is an absolute must-do! A huge shoutout to our incredible guide, Alfonso, who made the entire day unforgettable. Alfonso was extremely warm, friendly, and a true wealth of knowledge. Throughout the trip—from the Hoover Dam to Grand Canyon West and the Skywalk—he shared fascinating history and facts about the Hualapai Nation, geology, and local folklore. He even sent us notes and facts along the way so we wouldn't forget anything! On top of being an exceptional guide, he is a fantastic photographer. He knew all the best viewpoints and took so many stunning photos of us that we will treasure forever. Thank you, Alfonso, for going above and beyond—10/10 recommendation!
Due to unforeseen circumstances, other patrons had cancelled, but lucky for us we had the good fortune of having a private tour that day! Even better, our tour guide, Alfonso was more than amazing! Not only was he very knowledgeable about the areas we visited, but he provided great details and stories of the history of Lake Meade, Hoover dam, Joshua Tree & the Grand Canyon as well as geology of the areas visited. We appreciated learning about the Hualapai Nation people of the Grand Canyon as well. In addition to all the information shared, Alfonso was very accommodating to any areas we wanted to see, as well as taking the most beautiful pictures and poses of us as a couple in this beautiful landscape. We‘ve never had a tour guide who paid so much attention to detail and wanted to ensure we had a wonderful day which we did! It was a tour of a lifetime we will never forget! We have gone on several tours through Viator and had very good tour guides, but Alfonso was the best! This was a wonderful tour. Alfonso was outstanding! He was very knowledgeable and very personable. From the moment he picked us up at 6 am to the moment he dropped us off at 7:30 pm, he was very attentive. He took amazing pictures of the group and of individuals! He took the time to explain all the history and answer questions. The small group atmosphere makes it very personalized. We only had seven people total on our tour. This is fully guided which has its pros and cons, however if you’re looking for that, this is your tour! It was a memorable day, we will never forget.
From start to finish it really was an amazing experience. Alfonso really is a professional in his craft. Personable and such a really nice man. Insightful and very knowledgeable. He knew all the best spots to make our day so special, be it photo opportunities or even just brilliant views of the places we stopped at. I would 100% highly recommend Grand Adventures Tours to anyone. Real value for money. Trip was about 12 hours rnd trip from to door, long day but well worth it. Highly recommended. Alfonso made it such a happy jolly day with his enthusiasm for the trip.
It was a memorable tour, covering two two great wonders of the world. The van was a bit late in picking us up but the driver/guide, Mr Alfonso Vargas, called us and kept us informed. He was an excellent, courteous, knowledgeable guide with a great sense of humour. He gave us detailed background information of all the places we visited including relevant statistics, and significance of the places. There was never a dull moment during the entire trip.
Cannot recommend this trip enough, excellent value for money, you get to spend loads of time at both the Hoover dam and Grand Canyon, lots of photo opportunities. Our guide for the day was Alfonso, what a great guy, super friendly and his knowledge of Las Vegas, it's surroundings, the Hoover Dam and Grand Canyon is endless, plus he'l keep you supplied with cold bottles of water all day, if you book this trip ask for Alfonso, can't go wrong, guaranteed a great day.
Paul was an enthusiastic and informative guide. He entertained us with anecdotes and fun facts all day. It made the drive go quickly. The Hoover dam walk was amazing and the canyon breathtaking. The Sky Walk was fun, I loved dancing on the glass.
