ナックルズ山脈は非常に重要な保護地域であり、ユネスコによって国家遺産および荒野地域として認められています。 「キャンディでやるべきこと」のリストへの素晴らしい追加。ナックルズでのバックパッキングは、スリランカにあるすべての森林の種類を体験し、海抜250から4,000フィートまで移動します。このトレッキングトレイルは、さまざまな気候帯を経験することを意味します-ナックルズ山脈に特有で、バードウォッチングを行うのも魔法のトレイルです。この素晴らしい範囲は、スリランカの高さ250〜4,000フィートの森林のほぼすべての種類をカバーしています。島で最大の乾燥したパタナ平原であるピタワラパタナを散策すると、下にあるプワクピティヤ渓谷への1,500フィートの切り立った斜面が見えます。休暇中に得た余分なカロリーを燃やすのに役立つ素晴らしい中程度のトレッキング。

Had a fantastic hike arranged, good communication throughout planning stages and leading up to the trek and easy online payment. We were collected by driver and guide (good safe driving, with tea stop!) and brought to the hike starting point. Our guide was excelllent and gave lots of explanations on the wildlife/ecosystems and history of the area we were travelling through and throughout the hike, pointing out different bird calls, insects/crabs etc. Hike was a good, moderate difficulty (bring lots of water!) with amazing views along the way and from the top. Lunch in the village afterwards was really delicious and a nice way to finish the hike. Highly reccomended!
