At No Frills Excursions, after more than 20 years and over one million guests, we take criticism seriously — but we also believe future customers deserve to know the full context behind a review such as this one. During the tour, there were repeated issues with your attitude and with following the guide’s instructions. More importantly, we received complaints from other guests in the same group about your behaviour and the negative atmosphere it created. A group experience requires a basic level of respect towards the guide and, above all, towards the other people who have paid to enjoy their afternoon. We were actually expecting this review, particularly after your request for a refund had already been considered and declined. Everyone is entitled to leave a negative review, but that does not mean we should remain silent about what happened. Guests displaying this kind of attitude are simply not the type of customers we want on our tours, because their behaviour can spoil the experience not only for themselves, but also for everyone else in the group. Fortunately, this is completely unrepresentative of the atmosphere normally found on our Palma Food Tour. It is one of our signature experiences, combining authentic Mallorcan food, local establishments, hidden places and stories about Palma with passionate local guides. Many guests — including people who have visited Palma several times — tell us they discover places they would never have found by themselves. We will always prioritise the enjoyment of the whole group and support our guides when they are doing their job properly. Respect works both ways, and as the saying goes, what goes around comes around.

The meeting point was clearly provided in your booking confirmation, and the rest of the group arrived there correctly. The issue was not a lack of information from our side, but that you arrived at a different location. Despite this, instead of simply considering the booking a no-show, our team did everything possible to help you. We answered your message, requested your location, provided the meeting point and asked you to join the group. We even delayed the start of the tour and made the other guests wait for you. Unfortunately, your review gives the impression that nobody tried to assist you, when the opposite happened. We made an effort to accommodate you, even though the mistake was not caused by our company. This situation also highlights something important: a tour cannot be reorganised around one person who arrives late or at the wrong place while the rest of the group is ready and waiting. Hundreds of guests rely on us to keep schedules and provide a professional experience. We understand that the beginning of the tour was frustrating for you, but we also believe future readers should know that our team went above and beyond to help in a situation where the responsibility was not ours.
