It was amazing to learn how those who reside in a floating village live during the dry and rainy seasons. And the canoe ride through the mangroves were very cool! As we stopped by the mosque, our guide escorted us through the now dry street of one of the floating villages and it was very heartwarming to have been greeted by children asking “how are you,” what is your name, etc., having learned at a local school in the village. It was nice to see a library and some of the organizations who help support the community.

Boat ride trough the village to Tonle Sap lake and kayak ride in mangrove forest with singing ladies. We also got a chance to look into one of the houses in floating village. Thanks for that!

I participated in a Japanese language tour. A friendly guide picked me up at my hotel on time and taught me everything about life in Cambodia until I arrived in the village. It was very interesting. We had a great time with our guide who also knows a lot about Japan. We watched the floating village as we traveled by boat, then switched to a smaller boat at the finish line and made our way through the mangroves. It was a really impressive tour. I recommend it.

It was different from the schedule shown in advance. We were planning to stop at the Old Market, but we couldn't find it. To be sure, exploring the floating settlements and mangroves was great, but overall there was a lack of volume. It feels like it's not worth the price.

It was great to be guided by a guide who is very good at Japanese! It was a good experience to learn about the culture of Cambosia.

We were welcomed very punctually by our friendly guide. The car was very good, clean and also a cold drink (water) was offered to us. The guide was able to tell us a lot about the country and people during the trip. We had overlooked the fact that you don't drive through the Mangrowe forest in the dry season, we had overlooked this. Maybe you can explain this a little better. The trip started quite lively with traditional wooden boats, according to the local conditions but very authentic. You get an interesting insight into the very poor and simple life of the extremely friendly inhabitants. The ride went through a kind of canal, which is currently being redesigned by the government, out onto the lake to a kind of floating cafe. Here you can have a drink and see crocodiles. Here is a small criticism, the keeping of the animals is very questionable and certainly needs improvement. All in all, we still enjoyed it very much. We advise against travelling with a Tuc Tuc from Siam. Road under construction, lots of dust, lots of traffic.

We had an amazing trip to Kompong floating village. Our guide was wonderful and well informed I would recommend this for anyone coming to siem reap.

I joined because I wanted to see the floating settlement of Lake Tonle Sap once. After all, the power is completely different when you actually see it. You can see people living and fishing while using the boats. The guide was also very proficient and kind in Japanese as he had studied in Japan. I highly recommend it, as you won't be subject to excessive tips or pushovers!
