The driver from the tour informed us that the tour was canceled. This was done at the last minute, unacceptable

Please take note we feel sorry but we had very hot temperatures in the past weeks. Not everybody wants to join a tour with these temperatures and it happened several times that passengers cancelled at short notice.
These passengers remained to be the only people and we cannot operate a tour for 2 people. We need a minimum number of passengers to operate a tour (minimum 4 people) as stated on Viator website and if we do not reach this number we are entitled to offer a different tour or date.
Our tour guide spoke to the passenger and offered them the Full Day Rhine Valley Tour with a castle visit and even lunch in a restaurant but the customers denied without mentioning any reason.
As the original tour was not operated we had informed Viator on the same date to arrange a full refund for the customers.

My own personal trip was much cheaper and amazing
The trip was cancelled due to no other customers. I was offered a trip to Koln or river cruise which I declined as my objective/ wish was to visit a castle.I had no curtesy call and I made my own way there. I hope I get my refund which was alot.

Beautiful
The castle is beautiful and the guide was knowledgeable. They have an English speaking tour. This is very inexpensive and there is a cute cafe and souvenir shop.

Great Castle Tour!
Our guide, George, did a wonderful job for us! The castle tour was well worth the time and money. Even though it was raining, George made an effort to take us into the village which was very pretty.
