Our Great Ocean Road day trip with Go West Tours was an absolutely unforgettable experience, largely thanks to our incredible guide, Graeme. The drive itself was spectacular, offering breathtaking views of the rugged coastline at every twist and turn. Graeme was exceptionally talented, effortlessly navigating the winding roads while keeping the whole bus entertained with his helpful local insights, brilliant sense of humor, and his fun habit of playing the perfect song on the bus to match each visited place and mood. He really went above and beyond for our group, actively scanning the trees and fields to find wild kangaroos and koalas for us to see. As if the scenic journey wasn't enough, we were unbelievably lucky to spot a whale right off the Torquay surf beach! We couldn't have asked for a better day out or a more entertaining guide.

Today, guides and drivers Jaimes took the entire team of 23 people for a full and smooth day trip! From the morning to the hotel pick-up, 8 hours out of town, see the sea and enjoy breakfast tea at Torquay beach, then drive along the coastline to start the ocean road tour, during which Jaimes did not forget to remind the safety of the car, and brought interesting explanations in the various attractions, as well as our photo assistant, while staying in the town along the way, Jaimes also recommend local meals, and for the time and accuracy of the various attractions, our team is in good time at 5:30 p.m. Recommend to sign up for this day trip!

Amazing day on the Great Ocean Road. We were fortunate to have a beautiful sunny day to enjoy the views. Jaimes from Go West Tour was a very good guide and the small group was perfect. There was not too many people at each stop, so it was not packed. Very enjoyable experience, I highly recommend.

We had a fantastic experience on the Go West Tours Great Ocean Road Classic Day Tour. Our guide, Rheys, made the entire journey memorable with his energy, knowledge, and sense of humor. It’s a long, full-day trip, but the pacing was well thought out with plenty of stops to stretch your legs and take in the scenery. The coastal views were stunning, and the transition into the rainforest added a completely different, lush atmosphere to the day. Along the way, we spotted a variety of native birds and even a koala, which was a real highlight. Walking along the beach and through the rainforest gave us a chance to truly experience the landscape up close. Rheys kept things entertaining throughout—his best Crocodile Dundee impression while attempting to call up some kangaroos was a fun touch, even if they had already turned in for the evening. His enthusiasm and effort didn’t go unnoticed. Overall, this is a fast-paced but incredibly rewarding tour that covers a lot of ground and showcases some of Australia’s most beautiful natural sights. Four us (myself, a man, and three women), all of us elderly. Our tour guide was named Bob with Go West tours, for the great ocean road (GOR) tour. I am 86 years old, I have visited 35 countries, I have taken many tours. I can say without hesitation that this was the very best tour I have ever taken! Bob was knowledgeable, funny, and endlessly kind to us. He insisted on helping my sister-in-law Geysa, [who walks very little and with great difficulty] walk from the GOR visitor's center to the viewing platform of the Apostles, and back (see Bob and Geysa in the photo below). This was an act of kindness that we have always found typical of the Aussies - they are a great people. This company has employees who have been a cut above for many years. Don't hesitate to take ANY GO West tour.

We had a terrific day out under the excellent care of Bob, our driver and guide. Every bit of the day was excellent, even the weather cooperated. Bob gave us every opportunity and plenty of time to enjoy the sights at each stop along the way. His explanations put everything in good local and historical context, which we appreciated. The stops for lunch and dinner provided good options for a meal of our choice. We saw fabulous geography as well as koalas, kangaroos and various birds. It was a very long day but so worth it. Highly recommended!

My one-day trip along the Great Ocean Road was truly beyond amazing. The views along the way were absolutely stunning - from the ocean to the cliffs and breathtaking natural scenery. I couldn’t stop taking photos! A special shoutout to our tour guide, Bob 👏 He was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole trip so enjoyable with his stories and great energy. Overall, it was such a memorable, fun, relaxing, and inspiring. I would definitely do it again!
